Depth Chart - ND Game
I checked the depth chart on Rivals before the ND game and noticed two interesting tidbits:
1. Taylor Lewan was listed ahead of Mark Huyge at Right Tackle. Did this actually pan out this way?
2. Tate was listed as #2 behind Denard. This is interesting and plays into my theory that his being listed at #3 for the UConn game was a disciplinary thing rather than Tate being the third-best option at QB. Can anyone confirm or debunk this theory? I just can't believe that Devin (although a stud) could have passed Tate on the depth chart just based on the experience level alone.

And Tate's offseason issues required him to be put at #3, and to work his way back up the chart. Glad he is doing so.

Not sure what depth chart you are looking at but the Week 3 depth chart just released by Rivals has Tate at # 3

I wouldn't look at Rivals' depth chart to deep because they still have Vlad Emilien listen behind Cam Gordon.

Vlad is not listed on the Rivals depth chart released today:

On this depth chart (updated by Rivals on 9/13) Lewan is not listed at RT at all, and is 2nd string behind Huyge.
Also, Vlad is not on here at all, neither is Lalota
Tate and Devin are both listed as 2nd string (Devin or Tate)

It seems as if Anthony Lalota should have hugged Rodriguez before the game too...

i got really effing excited to see so many "So" and "Fr" on the 1-2 deep. this defense could be 2006'ish by 2012.

Yeah, but it could be very 2009'ish in 2010.

here's the UMASS DEPTH CHART on rivals: http://michigan.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=1117803
the one thing that looks interesting to me is WLB. It used to be 1) Mouton, 2) Jones, 3) Leach.
Now it's just 1) Mouton, 2) Leach (no #3)
I wonder what Jones did?

He broke his leg during the ND game.

Oh.... I see the thread title has now been changed to the "ND" game. No harm no foul. We all make mistakes.

I was trying to do some Monday morning quarterbacking. Initial fail!
