SI Cover jinx is only for the following week not the entire season.
Jinx didn't seem to bother Kobe, MJ, Montana, etc. Vince Young was also on the cover twice during UT's championship run.

but with the NFL season beginning, and a college cover from last week, I'm almost positive it'll be an NFL cover. Maybe it'll be like Tate last year, a little blurb on the corner of the cover.

Michigan vs Notre Dame had got a lot of publicity from SI in past years....I think that it is a good call to say that he has a shot at getting the cover....but not the glitzcy cover of the superstars...but the in game great shots similiar to the Chris Perry shot following the 2003 Ohio St win.
