Lou Holtz is one of the worst things to happen to humanity, ever.

He said with his best Irish twinkle in the eye voice something like, "That Robinson kid is really something special."

He was just on TV. Other than praising rudolph's long TD catch, he spoke nothing of ND. He said Denard was "something special" but was disappointed in the lack of offense generated by the rest of the team.
We just generated 530 yards offense. What else do you want?

the defense only gave up like 50 yards (to people not named robinson)

Wow. That's the way to spin it. Essentially, he said that the ND defense should be happy because outside of Denard (and his 508 yards of offense) the rest of the Michigan offense had about 50 yards. That's the attitude that has kept ND returning to glory for the past 2 decades.

encouraging for the ND defense."

I think Holtz committed 2 more NCAA violations in the commercial break.

Lou didn't have a compliment for DRob! He is so insane that he said this looks good on notre dame's d because Denard is going to do this to a lot of defenses. Lou belongs in a home.
September 11th, 2010 at 8:53 PM ^
he just gave the notre dame defense credit for only giving 50 yards of offense to the players on michigan who is not named denard robinson. the guy is mental ..

I'm still trying to get back to Earth after taking that halftime trip to the world where Lou lives.
