Sparty Cause of Protective Nets at College Gameday

Surprising no one.

Lee Corso mentioned on yesterday's Dan LeBatard show that after he picked Michigan once at East Lansing the crowd began to throw beer cans and what not and that was the reason that Gameday now has protective nets around the set.

The only surprising thing in this whole story was why GameDay would be in East Lansing?? Did they get lost or the trucks break down.......sure it wasn't basketball GameDay.  MSU football is about as relevent for them as the Ivy League.

Sparty should figure out some way to incorporate their contribution to this great innovation in broadcast journalism on those university commercials that they run on gamedays.  It would probably trump their other innovations such as a cordless cattle inseminator and the frictionless horse rectum thermometer.

MSU isn't the only place where they pegged the Gameday gang.  Kirk got hit with a beer can at LSU once and later that year, he got hit with a Marshmallow in Ann Arbor.
