I don't think I've ever heard of a wr holding before. it's always the backup qb who can ya know throw it.

haha yeah I know. I think it was suppose to be Kennedy, but he was out for the game. As far as QB's go though, I think Zoltan was our holder last year.

It was supposed to be Van Slyke.
And yes, Zoltan was the previous holder.

I just remembered that most of lloyds were always backup qbs and I mustn't assumed that that was the convention.

It's often the punter, but I've seen wide receivers do it before, too. I believe Wes Welker was (is?) the Patriots holder at one point.
Until he got hurt, it was supposed to be safety Jared Van Slyke holding for extra points/field goals.

I think the most important thing is hands. If the holder can throw, great, but that's a luxury. A fake FG is a once-a-year play, if that, and it doesn't have to involve a pass.
