Adidas.  Their shoes get  a close up every time you hear the name Shoelace.

I like it. It's been fun  listening to some folks kinda row back to the camp that maybe we arent dead after all.

Some fanbases only have a few weeks left of denial before reality hits them that their window has closed.

I didn't see the Hawkeyes play, but it looks like Stanzi had a good game despite falling over himself, literally. And hey, it looks like he even avoided an INT! I've been too hard on him, style points don't matter. He gets it done (after throwing touchdowns to the other team). Sorry, I can't help it. I'm getting better...

Your boy Persa was killer, though.

Marve looked pretty good, too.

Persa was good, for sure.

I just had this vision of your formulas as living and breathing things, adjusting towards better numbers towards Iowa when it looked like he was injured. He got knocked out for a few plays. When I heard that, I thought of you and imagined you upgrading your Iowa predictions, lol, without Anthony Morelli of the land of corn in the lineup.

And, what I mean by that is when the future lines come back out, if MICH is still -3 aginst Sparty, I will be all over the Maize and Blue. MSU is getting bitchslapped hard if the team that played yesterday takes the field.

Ha!  As if Adidas needs to use M for more publicity than they're already getting from us now.

Exhibit A:  Watch the RR presser video and look at his apparel.  I see the Adidas corporate logo or the three stripe insignia 5 - FIVE! - times.  (2 on the hat, 3 on the shirt)

Compare that with 2 block M's (1 on hat, 1 on shirt.)

As far as I'm concerned, M could sue adidas for breach of contract.  Adidas isn't supplying us with Michigan apparel, but with adidas apparel, that happens to have a block M on it here and there.

Seriously, Michigan is looking like Adidas' whore right now.  The way Adidas puts their logo all over, in such an in-your-face-manner, is just plain tacky.  We may as well start selling other coporate sponsorship space on our jerseys, like Nascar, b/c the adidas swag looks almost as bad, as things stand currently.

Compare that with how UConn's apparel looked...  A simple swoosh on the jerseys and coaches' apparel.  Present, yes, but minimalist, doesn't distract from the UConn brand the way Adidas upstages Michigan.

Anyhow, Adidas...  I hate those guys.

P.S. - Before someone reminds me....  Yes, I know we're getting more $$$ from Adidas.  But at what cost?  The adidas stuff seriously looks tacky.  I actually think it's been progressively getting worse over the past couple years, too.  At the rate we're going, next year the 50 yard line at the Big House will probably be replaced by three stripes.

Firstly, that's a jersey design, not a qualm with Nike's logo placement.

Secondly, those are alternate jerseys worn for one game per year.  Adidas has botched the apparel that M wears every game by plastering its stupid logo all over everything.  This is much more egregious than what Nike does.

Thirdly, there's no way they'd do that with our home jerseys.  And our away jerseys are kinda "meh" as is.

So, I'd rather have an unappealing away jersey for 1 game a year, than the current piss-poor excuse for sideline apparel that adidas currently gives us.

Are you seriously arguing that sideline apparel is more important to you than the team uniform?  Good grief.

It is unreal how badly some of you have been brainwashed by Nike's marketing campaigns.  We need an intervention for you guys.  I'm just glad Bill Martin didn't fall for it.  Our athletic department would be $30M poorer for it.
