Everyone. Please. Calm. Down.

Submitted by Edward Khil on

I am feeling too much...angst...from the people posting on this Board.

Remember the words of Sun-Tzu:

"The good fighters of old first put themselves beyond the possibility of defeat and then waited for an opportunity of defeating the enemy."

"He will win whose army is animated by the same spirit throughout its ranks."

"The clever combatant looks to the effect of combined energy, and does not require too much from individuals."

We are in The Big House.  Allow this all to flow as it will.

Let it manifest.

Bring the intention and the openness to let it become what it will be.

Let it follow the path that it must follow.

And it will be.

Victory.

Sorry, but, uh, you're on the eve of one of the biggest  michigan football games you might ever see, a possible turning point for our entire program, and you want everyone to calm down?

Have fun sitting down during the game, I guess. I won't be.

Doesn't matter. Unless the thread content said "FUCK SHIT UP" or "YELL A LOT", it was wrong.

We had 10 months to be calm and there is absolutely no reason to be calm about anything now.

I am going to wake up and grill sausages and then yell a lot and throw them and go to the football game. Being calm has no place on gameday.

Think I will go do some sim flying online. Maybe shooting somebody down will calm me down a bit... at least until kickoff. Time to fire up my 109, and go hunt some Spitfires over the channel.

It's an older sim, but still the benchmark for prop sims. At least until Storm of War comes out. Together with the Ultra Pack 2.01, you can fly a few hundred different types of aircraft. The sim is primarily flown at a game lobby called, Hyper Lobby: http://hyperfighter.sk/

You can find a few hundred simmers flying 24/7. Flying all theaters from early to late war, and even what if scenarios. You can fly simple dogfights, or take part in complex campaigns. You can fly against other simmers. Or take a couple friends, and fly coop missions or campaigns against some very good A.I. If you would rather fly offline, there are hundreds of campaigns and missions created for single player.

If your handy with paint shop or photo shop, you can create your own paint schemes. For instance when I fly the F4U Corsair, this is one of my skins:

Wish I could. This is too important. The fact that I have to miss some of the beginning to attend my sister's birthday 45 minutes away from fucking home only adds to my angst/anxiety.
