Official Michigan-UConn Prediction Thread

Sorry if one exists, I haven't seen one. If there is one just delete this, who cares. If not, though, then post your prediction!

Michigan: 38

UConn: 27

I think UConn's passing attack is getting a little too much positive press, as it really isn't anything to be feared, I think. And optimistic me is hoping for surprise competence and stability in the Michigan secondary from the young (but still talented) corners, and better-than-last-year safetys. Time will tell but at least I can stop saying, "I can't wait for September 4."

I think we come out like gangbusters and put up a big number in the first half. Then we just have to make sure we don't blow it in the second.

I predict Denard leads the team on the first drive, RR calls a series of running plays to put the defense in "Denard never throws" mode, then he calls a passing play once they're within striking distance (30-yards-ish) of the endzone.

Final score will be UM 30 UCONN 20

As for a more long-term prediction, I predict that RR wins a bowl game at Michigan before Dantonio wins one at MSU.

There is a reason we have all of those receivers. DRob will do a lot with his feet but the talk tomorrow will be about how he was able to use so many different receivers. MICH 44 - UCONN 21

This and all others are going to depend on the secondary. They do just enough today.  With any luck, the wind will keep blowing all day long to help them out.

UCONN will have a good day throwing the ball because the UM d-line will not get enough pressure on the QB.

Michigan wins 38-14.

UConn doesn't have the tools to take advantage of Michigan's secondary.  Michigan is getting faster on defense and will get to the ball quicker (Barwis!, Ryan Mundy at WVU).
