Is Moundros starting ahead of Obi this year? Anybody have some insider info on this? I have heard that Mark was starting with the 1s quite a bit in camp, and I'm not sure whether that's something good or not. If this is the case either MM is really good even though he played fullback every year until this one, or Obi just isn't getting it. Whoever is out there playing the majority of the snaps, I want to see some really physical play in the middle. UConn will smash the ball right at us all day, and if we want to win this one we have to be more physically dominating in the middle. You might see some 4 man fronts on 1st and 2nd down to stop the power run formations this Saturday.

...interview with Obi. He seems very at ease with where he and the team are. He did a great job explaining the MLB's role and showed himself to be a great representative of Michigan.

By putting Moundros at Ezeh's spot Rich Rod is directly challenging Ezeh. Either Ezeh will step up and play better than he would have otherwise, or if Moundros is better he will play. Either way the positiion will be improved from last season.

Even if Moundros starts, I think Ezeh will still be a key component of our defense this year. He was supposedly getting reps at WLB when Mouton got nicked up a little bit, and I think he'll play significantly at MLB, too. I hope he finished out his career strong. He seems like a good guy, and it would suck to see him lose his job as a fifth year senior. Also, Greg Robinson coaching the position gives me some confidence. I think those ILBs are going to improve this year.

Good job Obi. I think he's going to be better this season then he has been in years past. I think the second year in the system and the cohesion between the upper and lower classmen are paramount in our success defensively. 3 Days. Can't wait. Tebow Death ROH for lifeee!
