What game(s) are you going to this year?

Submitted by Wolverine0056 on

What game or games are you going to this year? I am going to the BGSU game on Sept. 25. I would love to go to another game or so but I may not get the chance. So I will be cheering on the Wolverines from the comfort of my couch (would rather be at the Big House, but oh well). Just interested in what games the mgoblog members are attending this season.

I am hoping to attend the Wisconsin game this year.  My wife went to Madison and it would be great for her to see her team loose at the big house in person!

I've gone to non-conference shit games in the past.  EMU in 07, Toledo in 08 (where I saw a boy crying after the game), and Delaware State last year.  I'm holding out for Illini tickets this year, as my choices have been narrowed down to Bowling Green, UMass, and Illinois.  P.S., anybody else from the Class of 2000 get these class reunion emails lately advertising tailgating, etc.?

I will be making my first trip to the Big House on Sept 25th with my dad and younger brother to see Bowling Green.  Flying from Portland, OR to take in all U of M has to offer.  I cant wait for Sept 4th and waiting til I can actually be at the game is killing me.  32 days

I have never counted down to something this far in advance.  We have been planning a trip like this for a few years and finally just decided that this year is the one to do it.  Got it all planned out with where to eat and even taking a tour of the Big House which I am super pumped for.  Its going to be unbelievable.  Just hope I dont spend too much at the MDen

I graduated in 2009 and all my friends from that year are having a reunion in Ann Arbor for the Iowa game.

We have people coming from all over: LA, San Fran, Portland OR, Seattle, Saint Louis, North Caorlina, NYC, and of course Michigan.

I can't wait to be back in the Big House with all my best friends from the best 4 years of my life!

I have season tix but live 5-8 hours away (depending on traffic through chicago and construction on 94).  Usually i make 3 or 4 games and sell the rest to some buddies up there.

This year unfortunately i'm saving for a wedding and am broke. I'm going to the Uconn and MSU games. I'm so excited for both. Uconn for obvious reasons and MSU for obvious reasons along with the fact that i've been trying to see an MSU game in person for about 10 years and still haven't been able to make it work out. Worst scheduling luck ever, but everything looks to be panning out this year.

I have a couple games that still are available so i have to check out the place on this board for tickets to be bought/sold - i'd be thrilled to give them to mgofans at a fair price!

Flying in from Las Vegas to at least 2 of the games, UCONN and msu. I have tickets to every game except Iowa, but I don't think I will be able to make the other 4 games, good thing I have family members who want those tickets. Still cant wait to get in for the opener, the atmosphere is going to be electric!

I have a ball tournament up north every Labor Day weekend, but I bought my FIRST SEASON TICKETS EVER this year.  I must say, I picked a damn fine year to do that.

I haven't decided which games yet.  The UConn game would be nice to go to.   And I'm thinking about going to the MSU game.  (Last time I went to a MSU game at the big house was the Braylon triple overtime classic in 04).

I'm nervous going to ANY game these days.  Blue used to be 15-0 when I was present.  But 3 of my last 4 trips to Ann Arbor have been losses. This must stop.

Bengals Season Ticket Holder - should be competitive this year with Baltimore & Pittsburgh

UM Home Games - UConn, Illinois, Wisconsin

OSU v Wisconsin in Madison - a Weekend Guys Trip centered around a John Daley-esque RV (what could possibly go wrong?).  Really looking forward to a day of HEAVY drinking leading up to the 8:00 kickoff  (must.....pace.....myself).   Great atmosphere - a football game in Madison should be on everyone's Bucket List.

I have a couple different savings accounts for "fun" (aka M football)--one has been started for Alabama/Michigan and the other is a general away game fund.  The latter is kind of empty now because I have tickets to all games but Indiana (it's the weekend before the LSAT and I thought I should lay low.)
