Over/Under Denards Rushing Yards

Submitted by Eric on

Let's here the predictions. Assuming that Denard starts.  Will he rush for over or under 100 yds against UConn?  Also, Over/Under 1,000 yds on the season? I personally think he'll rush for over 100 vs. UConn but just shy of 1,000 for the year.  What say you?

Under on both. I don't think he's going to be the full time starter all year. Tate and Denard will be in constant competition IMO. Next year is when he takes the reigns full time.

Better question in my mind is how many 20+ yd runs will he have now that the Oline should be good enough to spring him to the second level and let his speed take over.

I'm not assuming anything about the opener.  However, after consulting many oracles, such as the magic 8-ball, pick up stcks, and old Karnak vids on YouTube, Denard's number for the year comes out to 938.

I say he goes for over  100 on UConn put doesn't get 1,000 yards on the season. I see him getting around 700 to 900 yards this year which will lead the team.

Even if he is the starter at QB he'll have a hard time getting to 1,000 for the season.  It's a hard thing to do for RBs let alone QBs.  Furthermore, even if he is the starter, on top of that, he'll still be sharing time with Tate (assuming he didn't transfer).  Additionally, there's still a decent chance that Tate will, in fact, be the starter.  Obviously if that's the case Denard definitely won't make it to 1,000.

Over/under at 1000?  Wow.  So you guys think he's Pat White v. 2.0?

I would've put the over/under at 800, that's just me though.

So, if the over/under is 1000 I guess I'm taking the under.

(Hoping for the over tho, obvsly)
