Over/Under Denards Rushing Yards
Let's here the predictions. Assuming that Denard starts. Will he rush for over or under 100 yds against UConn? Also, Over/Under 1,000 yds on the season? I personally think he'll rush for over 100 vs. UConn but just shy of 1,000 for the year. What say you?

Jamiemac, what's the line at?

Under 100 against UConn ('cause he'll get pulled after were up by 20)
Over 1000 for the year

Under on both. I don't think he's going to be the full time starter all year. Tate and Denard will be in constant competition IMO. Next year is when he takes the reigns full time.

I'd love to see over on both but honestly I just want the team to get the W's. No matter the individual stats.

How do you over and under infinite?
August 20th, 2010 at 12:32 PM ^
Defense that already sucks vs. spread + missing 2 DEs + Denard = Game over

Better question in my mind is how many 20+ yd runs will he have now that the Oline should be good enough to spring him to the second level and let his speed take over.

THAT is what I am soooooo looking forward to. (And if Tate plays he'll have way more time to pass.)

What was Pat White's average rushing output?
Take that, double it, and I'll take the over.
August 20th, 2010 at 2:00 PM ^
White averaged 1,120 yards per season. I'm going to have to adjust my prediction of 6-6 upwards quite a bit since Denard's rushing for 2,240 yards, defense be damned!!

I'm not assuming anything about the opener. However, after consulting many oracles, such as the magic 8-ball, pick up stcks, and old Karnak vids on YouTube, Denard's number for the year comes out to 938.

Over on both, Denard will be a machine. He'll be over 1000 yards on the season before his 200 yard domination in our bowl game.
August 20th, 2010 at 1:05 PM ^
Depending on the dilithium reserve, I'll set the over/under at 12 parsecs.

I say he goes for over 100 on UConn put doesn't get 1,000 yards on the season. I see him getting around 700 to 900 yards this year which will lead the team.

Barry Sanders single season record of 2628 yards is in serious jeopardy

Even if he is the starter at QB he'll have a hard time getting to 1,000 for the season. It's a hard thing to do for RBs let alone QBs. Furthermore, even if he is the starter, on top of that, he'll still be sharing time with Tate (assuming he didn't transfer). Additionally, there's still a decent chance that Tate will, in fact, be the starter. Obviously if that's the case Denard definitely won't make it to 1,000.
August 20th, 2010 at 1:17 PM ^
99 yards vs. UCONN, but he'll squeak by with 1,001 yards for the year, so it's all good.
August 20th, 2010 at 2:07 PM ^
I'm interested in the over/under on 50+ yard runs from Denard.
August 20th, 2010 at 2:12 PM ^
eleventy billion....
August 20th, 2010 at 2:19 PM ^
not only will he go over 1000, but he will also be the team's top rusher (not that big of a prediction what with the tailback by committee).
August 20th, 2010 at 2:28 PM ^
Considering that UConn is down its top two DE's for that game, I like Denard's chances of running wild.

Over/under at 1000? Wow. So you guys think he's Pat White v. 2.0?
I would've put the over/under at 800, that's just me though.
So, if the over/under is 1000 I guess I'm taking the under.
(Hoping for the over tho, obvsly)
