Wow. I threw the flag, looked up the Ryan Reynolds thing and lost that challenge. Your credibility just skyrocketed. Man i hate being wrong...

Alanis to Scarlett Johansson is a major upgrade.

Ryan Reynolds is engaged to Scarlett Johansson, therefore Alanis must be about as hot as Scarlett.
However, I must disagree with the title. Alanis has been famous since she starred on the groundbreaking television program "You Can't Do That On Television" at the age of 12. So the title really should be something like "Between becoming famous originally and then releasing one of the greatest albums of all time, Alanis Morrissette opened for Vanilla Ice."

Bravo sir. 2 white girls for you tonight.

I don't know (this is where I get slimed)

I'm still in recovery after being told by fellow mgoblog posters (with their infinite Alannis knowledge) that the song "I'm a bitch" was not by Alannis Morisette.
Now this.
It really makes me question my supposed Alannis knowledge and consqeuently the meaning of life (since everyone knows Alannis Morisette played God in the Kevin Smith film "Dogma").
(Puts gun to head)

Don't fret, my friend. Lucky for guys like you, Brian has been emailing me for a while now asking me to be the Official MGoBlog Alanis Morissette Intern. Kind of like TomVH, but a little more important. I'll be posting lessons in the diary section semi-weekly. Expect to see a Dave Coulier and Vanilla Ice interview coming soon.
Email me with suggestions for Thursday Jagged Little Pillin'.

If it wasn't for him, Rap would have never survived. Ooops. My bad, Rap is dead. Hip hop came and destroyed it. Music made by scum and thugs. I'll stick to real music.
And WolvinLA, don't blog while drunk. This thread doesn't belong here. And thank god you didn't tell us you like to tuck your junk between your legs and do naked pirouettes to her music.
And I would love to see this chick do a cover of the Replacements "Gary's got a boner." I'd have more respect for her if she did.

NWA, Eazy, Dre, Snoop, etc. are the shit. New "rap" mostly sucks dong, but 90's rap is some of the best music around.

Geto Boys? 2 live crew? My roomie always listened to that stuff.
January 20th, 2009 at 1:46 PM ^
Ghetto Boys had a few good ones. Not a huge fan of 2 live. I'm talking mostly Death Row Records stuff. Tupac and all them. Then Eminem later. Basically anything Dre had a hand in.

That's pretty ironic...

she was on the famed Canadian kids TV show, "You Can't Do That on Television," syndicated in the US on Nickelodian.

She plays a powerful and moving role in Dogma. I was inspired by her prose.

When she kissed Jay, I wept at the subtle drama Kevin Smith was layering the scene with.

Fun fact: almost all of the Jagged Little Pill album was written about Uncle Joey himself, Dave Coulier. Such a great image.
