I agree, especially with regards to Tate.

That being said, I hope that both Tate and Denard are phenomenal!  I hope the toughest decision that Rodriguez has is getting both of them enough playing time.

Doesn't a guy with his recruting profile have a ton to lose if he can't win a starting spot with so many questions going in to camp in the secondary?

My point wasn't that he can't still be a good player.  Just that if he isn't starting in what appears to be a thin secondary we/I have to reevaluate expectations of him as a player.  Hall/Jackson/Warren where getting run by this point.  And I guess its a matter of opinion whether that adjustment of  his ceiling as a player counts as something to lose, but I think it is.

Not necessarily when he's still just a redshirt freshman.

I don't think you read the first response you received on you're original comment.

He is still a Redshirt Freshman, i do not think you can evaluate his ability yet. After he plays a few series in a few games, will the staff have a better idea of his ablilities.

True Warren played his true freshmen year, but that was forced by injury. RR thought he had the luxury of redshirting Turner last season. I think that will pay dividends this season. IMO take it FWIW.

* I think that's a little unfair to Stonum.  For his first two years he didn't have a QB who could reliably throw downfield (where he'd be most likely to distinguish himself).

* Like Dave Curtis of TSN, this guy seems to be overvaluing Moundros.  I think his move to LB says more about the lack of depth at the position (and maybe some reduced emphasis on the FB position) than it does about the LB starters (who *do* have at least a few issues).

* On this (http://www.thewolverineblog.com/2010/03/19/five-players-with-the-most-t…) page the site suggests that RichRod's plan for tight ends in his offense will depend on what the current ones can do.  That doesn't make too much sense to me.  If he thought along those lines it would have been all Wildcat all the time in '08.

On other points and players they make more sense.
