I love the quote, but the start of the video (still frame) on the site makes TWolf look super duper high.

Great to hear that J.T. Floyd is improving and like I said before, I see this defense making key stops when we need them in games this year unlike some last year.

Yeah, I actually had Troy in a couple classes last year, including a discussion, and he was a really nice guy. He was pretty quiet and kinda kept to himself usually, but he was well-spoken when he had to talk in front of the class and he always said hi to the people he knew a little bit. Of course in the classroom he isn't T-Wolf, so maybe he's a completely different man.

IF we can get by those first two games, I think it's very possible.  The schedule opens up a lot after that.  We've got to at least get a split in the first two though.  I don't want to think about what might happen if we start out 0-2.

I'm glad he's being realistic but at the same time a little surprised he didn't say something along the lines of "our goal is to win the B10."  That just seems like the typical answer.

JT a "late bloomer" though?  He's only a RS sophmore

I like how no one really knows what to call this defense.  That means opponents won't either.  If it's simple to our players and curious/confusing to theirs, we gain a step

Eventually the depth is going to get back to the point where a player like Woolfolk, who never disappointed as a freshman because he was buried on the depth chart until he developed into a reliable upperclassman, is the norm.

In my Happy place, JT does not see the field at all last year (save special teams), and this year only in garbage time.  After 3 years of practice and competition, Next year is the first time he's relied on.  Only Woodson-type freshman populate the 2-deep

It is inevitable that this current cold football reality will merge with my Happy place

But based on admittedly limited evidence, I say JT can play

In my happy place, an blue chip like Turner would be starting his Sophomore year after getting garbage time last year.  I'm guessing you really meant that he wouldn't be needed until his Junior year because there were quality upperclassmen in place?
