Brandon Graham Eagles Presser

Submitted by MGoShoe on

Brandon Graham talks to the press after his first Eagles practice session.  He talks about working out at Michigan for the last month after OTAs finished.  He's at 278 and has been concentrating on toning his abs to get rid of his gut.

A good job by him for his first time in the barrel.

I'm hoping that BGraham is the Defensive ROY for his stellar play against everyone on the Iggles' schedule...except for the Redskins.

Was wondering if anybody knows the background behind this. As far as I know there is some eagles guy who wears 55 but its not anybody important. Usually first round picks tend to get the jersey # they want unless its a superstar teammate, did BG just not care or does he actually prefer 54 to 55?

those are some pretty sweet gloves he's got on. I'm glad that BG got to this level (like he wouldn't); such a deserving player and person. hopefully he will destroy the world from within the Eagles organization

Now if the Broncos can get their act straight and actually sign a real QB...

I know it's a minor thing, but I loved hearing him say that he's being advised to and will save his money.  Regardless of the player, I hate to see athletes burn through their earnings and get into financial trouble when they leave the league.

BG is an amazing player and an awesome guy, I can't wait to see him on Sundays!

#54?  That is a Linebacker number in the NFL.  If I am not mistaken, the Eagles play a 3-4 so does this mean BG is going to be playing outside linebacker?  I guess Woodley is doing the same thing so its not exactly far-fetched.  Just weird to picture BG in a 2-point stance for some reason.

The Eagles run a 4-3 and BG will be lining up at the left defensive end opposite Trent Cole. As of now the Birds have no intention of using him as a linebacker which in my opinion is a great idea. Leave him at end where he dominated every O- tackle he faced throughout his college career. Go Blue! Go Birds!

He's a man. I'm so happy that he got drafted so high. I wasn't so happy that it was the Eagles. Since now Romo has to be destroyed by him every season twice. When he sacks him it will be bitter sweet.

But I'm willing to let him sack Junior Manning as long as he's kind to Mario Manningham.

Can't help loving those dimples and that smile flashing out when he talks about getting to keep his A2 apt. for the extra week, and his abs bet with his Michigan buddies.  What a great ambassador.
