Cool story bro
tl;dr
Hey it could happen! Look what the Cardinals did in 2008! They didn't have any playoff wins since the 40s. Then in '08 they almost pulled off one of the most insane turnarounds ever!
that looked like a Bacari Alexander tweet
Not enough "LOL!"s.
The Cardinals were 8-8 in 2007 before going 9-7 in 2008 with their superbowl run.
One step at a time my friend. Lions need to hit 8-8 before talking about superbowls.
They're not owned by William Clay Ford. That makes all the difference in the world.
Super Bowl run or not, I don't think he's changed all that much.
Suck it Colts!
Oh, and Obama can't be reppin 44. That is Best's number.
Baby steps. Gotta get to .500 first. Then the playoffs. Then another 20 years of misery. Then repeat the cycle.
The face on Matt Staffords model is absolutely hideous....
Head asplode.
Looks like the Colts are going to be missing Marlon Jackson this year
How did I miss the world ending? Does this mean that Detroit really is Hell? If so, why did I get left here?
EA really put some work into the game this year it seems. That's really kick ass. I wonder if every team has a saying about their team and a statistic? And, how will that will add up in the years after the first season in the franchise?
That's quite the celebration EA put together in that game. The first thing I thought was, Gus Johnson would have been going far more crazy if he was calling a Super Bowl that Detroit won. Lots of detail in there. A fairly good likeness of Commisioner Goodell. And the last thing I noticed was, Obama looks like one of those Ferengi aliens from Star Trek Next Gen in that game.
It's not going to NEVER happen. They're getting the pieces in place.
The Detroit Lions - staging their return to glory three decades longer than the Fighting Irish.
Gus Johnson's words are unbelievably inspiring.
I would love this scenario to play out. Not just because I'm a Lion's fan born and raised but because living in Indiana would lead to some sweet & tasty weeping if the colts lost to Detroit.
Haha. That was awesome seeing the president at the end. I've always lamented about how lame and non-satisfying the endings are after you win something in sports video games.
Maybe it was just my imagination but I feel like in some NHL game for the SNES you got to skate your guy around the rink with the cup after you won. Maybe I was just six and wanted to do that really badly. Anyways I wish you could do something interactive after winning a National Title in NCAA or a Super Bowl in Madden.
Sega Genesis. You definitely got to skate around with the cup
And it totally made the game kick-ass and memorable! I don't understand sometimes how features get lost when they upgrade video game counsoles. So sad.
R.I.P.
