Big Ten Media Day Player Representatives
Ahh media day, just another sign that we are getting closer to the best time of the year. Michigan's representatives will be Mark Moundros, Stephen Schilling, and Troy Woolfolk.

Also, Tressel continues to shield Pryor from the national media. If you have read some of his famous quotes, you know why.
Yesssss! Woolfolk!
He is perhaps the greatest player press conference since Mike Hart, and will make that meaningless event totally tolerable.
...that Ricardo Miller will be damn entertaining in the future. Guy's got swag.
i think that one of my favorite sports pastimes is playing the "holy shit -- he's still in college? -- it feels like he's been there for nine years" game. it's rare for one of my own to make my list, but stephen schilling is getting about as close as any michigan player that i can remember. it feels like he came in with that 1998 henson, terrell, fargas, and walker class.
Agree on Schilling as well as for 'one of my own'. Last one I can remember feeling that way about was Gary Grant....seemed like he was here for an eternity (which I was grateful for).
Carl Tabb and Savoy
a kid in the first week of December. I'm awake and fully aware, but only about 85% of my consciousness is available for the real world around me. The rest is already daydreaming about what lies ahead....
3 solid choices, that's great for each of them.
Three fine representatives: the five-star recruit and NFL hopeful (Schilling), the son of a former player and anchor of the defense (Woolfolk), and the former walk-on (Moundros). I especially like seeing Moundros there. Every freshman walk-on can think maybe, just maybe, four years down the road that could be me.
I completely agree with what you said about Moundros. Its especially nice to see him get the honor after the whole car accident situation.
Don't forget the dog stories. Woolfolk will get them laughing.
...of the Leaders and Best.
I can't believe I'm looking forward to a media availability... but I am.

Hear, hear. It can't arrive soon enough.
...mgoblue.com story. I found this bit interesting:
He has 16 starters returning from last season's squad, including seven players on offense, eight defensive performers and long snapper Tom Pomarico (Jackson, Mich./Lumen Christi) on special teams. The Wolverines have 53 of 77 lettermen returning from last year's squad.
I just don't see how both squads won't experience a significant improvement as compared to last year given the level of returning starters - and the significantly better depth. We can't forget how the offensive line fell apart late last year and how Tate was forced to continue to play in spite of his shoulder injury and how Minor and Brown broke down. And say what you will about this year's secondary, last year's was so incredibly bad as to be unrecognizable as a defensive backfield.
