or remain steady with the planned package his wife sent him to the store with?
That's all well and good, but did he have a Kroger Plus Shopper's Card?
to each coach when they came to Ann Arbor. it's in my expose for this Sunday's paper.
-Rosenberg
But have any coaches used the cards to buy recruits and/or players groceries? Thus creating a competitive advantage by providing them with free toiletries, breakfast cereals, and 10 for 10 on 2 liters of soda.
How did his hair look?
Finely manicured, on the quick glance I stole back at him.
This is quite possibly the dumbest question ever posted on MgoBlog. I'm pretty sure that the perfection of Gergs' majestic platinum mane should never be in question.
I did not mean to imply that it was anything less than perfect. I was hoping to get a more detailed description of how awesome his hair looked in person. Something along the lines of how his hair shone so brightly under the flouresent lighting, everyone near the checkout counter had to put on shades; or how his glorious locks left all who witnessed him with feelings of euphoria that lasted well into the day.
But you know, I was so excited I sort of breathlessy blurted out "How did his hair look" without taking the time to avoid sounding so clueless.
My apologies.
As he drinks a pina colada at Trader Vic's -- perfect!
Bip!
I think the real question here is: did he have any "Just for Men" in his cart? Seriously, can anyone really have hair THAT silver without a little "help"?
Cuffs and collar, and all that.
cool story hansel
this was the most painful reference i've seen yet
I saw Kevin Koger in a Kroger once and I tried really hard to make a "Koger-Kroger" joke but I just ended up pooping myself
It's more versatile and I heard he doesn't like to have to use a nickel or dime package
he provides his own sack
Dude, go to Meijer.
kept running into Shafer
You had the choice between a Michigan based grocer or an Ohio based grocer and you picked Ohio. You might as well have been paying Pryor's car payment yourself.
I hope you feel good about yourself.
Yikes, tough crowd. People buy "Worst State Ever" t-shirts, but when I say "support Michigan businesses over Ohio businesses" it's too much? Defend yourselves, neg-bangers.
they use neither logic nor reason
your Pryor comment ringing a bit too O$U'ish
That's fair, I thought it was all in good fun, but I get it. My first comment makes no mention of anything like that, but maybe I'm getting the "neg all his posts" treatment. Maybe it's because I'm from Grand Rapids (where Meijer is HQ'ed), but I will support the MI company over the OH company 10 times out of 10.
Ah Grand Rapids, where the question isn't "Should I shop at Meijer?" it's "Should I shop at Clyde Park Meijer, Cascade Meijer, Knapp Meijer, Ghetto (for another month or two) Meijer, Kalamazoo Meijer, or some other Meijer?"
Alpine Meijer? Standale Meijer? What the hell!
Grandville Meijer...
IS GHETTO MEIJER GOING OUT OF BUSINESS?!
Fond memories of that place. BTW is Studio 28 still open?
Nah, it's history. I heard that during my junior year of college they opened a bar in the building, and it just got more and more ghetto after that.
NOT THE FRENCH QUARTER OF MEIJERS!!!!
As an aside...I'm at the french quarter all of the time....
EDIT: Yet another aside. Does anyone remember the last time the Brickhouse got shot up?
I was on my way there that night after leaving The Bob, but my woman didn't want to go, so we back tracked to the car, and heard about it on the news the following day.
I've been at a few clubs when shooting broke out. Scary stuff.
I used to go there when it was Magoo's......
Ghetto Meijer is being redone as we speak. The old building is going to be torn down as soon as the new one is done. Everything including food is currently 10% off.
Studio 28 has been closed for at least a couple years now I think.
Ghetto Meijer for me was the Plainfiled Meijer. It was just Meijer until the Knapp Meijer opened, then that one became Meijer and Plainfield became Ghetto Meijer.
The *real* ghetto Meijer is on 28th and Kalamazoo. I'm just disappointed I never got to enjoy the McDonalds that used to be above the checkout lines.
Yeah, I've been to that one, and that one's more ghetto than my ghetto Meijer, but I was a NE guy, so that's where we went. My first job was at the Knapp Meijer, shortly after it opened - fun fact about me.
The real ghetto meijer is the original one (aka thrifty acres) in Muskegon on Henry St before it was rotated and remodeled.
Ghetto? I prefer "multicultural" Meijer"...
It's Walmart or bust here.
If not, we might have reason to be concerned about his conditioning.
Sounds like his conditioner is fine, though.
So no discussion with him? I'd have to say something if he was in line right behind me. Even a quick hello or Go Blue.
Yes, I did offer a quick "Go Blue."
He said it back.
Was he wearing a brightly colored maize polo, by chance?
I like it, cause I go to school in Dayton (Sinclair, not UD) and have to park at Welcome Stadium a lot.
He probably rushed home to tell his family that he ran into VictorsValiant09 today.
"pics or it didn't happen"
once he starts coordinating from the press box you'll never catch him in Kroger again. He'll use Peapod.
is there plans to do coordination from the new boxes or were you being facetious?
I know of no plans for GERG to move upstairs. And, no, I wasn't being facetious. I was being silly and bored.
He'd say about GERG....that his hair was perfect.
You just won at life. Warren Zevon combined with Gerg is perfect.
