Not OT: Charles Woodson in running for an ESPY
Our great Charles Woodson is in the running for an ESPY for Best NFL Player. Mobilize: http://espn.go.com/espys/#/home
If it's not OT, you don't need to say "not OT." Woodsoon is awesome.
but went against my usual laziness. I know some would say it is OT since it isn't JUST about Michigan. As we can see, I would take your side.
...would be incorrect. Feel free to edit your thread title. We'll back you up.
I voted for Woodson, but there's no way he wins this category.
But I deserve it...
/SUCK IT REVIS
Nothing like playing in New York to get your profile up. As a Packer fan, I would say Charles was personally responsible for several wins last year doing everything possible for that defense. He has basically reached the Obi Won Kenobi equivalent of football mastery. Revis is good at blanket coverage, but didn't make the same across the field impact.
Plus this time of year everything should be assumed OT and "not OT" should be applied to relevant things.
Woodsoon?
vote for anyone but Crosby for Best NHL Player. It's for the best.
but if there were a "Best Whiner in the NHL" category he'd have a much better chance.
*yawn*
More irrational Crosby hate. Nothing to see here, move along.
Shouldn't this be off topic??????
Voted. Go Woodson.
Also, I showed some love to Mark Ingram, Drew Brees, and Shaun White.
...here's Woodson speaking out about Albert Haynesworth and saying what any sane person would say:
I think probably the consensus is nobody can understand how you can get $100 million and not want to come play whatever system it is. I don't care 3-4, 4-3, 52, I don't care.
...an entire defense out of the current and former Redskins who've spoken out about Haynesworth. Charles Mann says it best:
"I mean, you go through it, you're young, and you think this is the way it's supposed to be and this is just regular life, and they have no clue as to the opportunity that they'r'e in the midst of. I'd crawl on the ground backwards for a hundred million dollars. I mean, just do the work. He looks more like a nose tackle, and a 3-4's gonna be great for him. You know why a 3-4 would be great? Because all he'll have to do is what he did last year, and that's just fall on the ground, pile it up a little bit and the linebackers roll past you and make the plays, He doesn't even have to make a play in the 3-4."
God, my obsession with college football belies my total indifference to the NFL. I knew Haynesworth was not working out well, but I didn't realize it was that bad.
Mgorockthevote?
My apologies if I'm stealing somebody's thunder here.
CW#2/21 is also our icon person for the Big Ten Network Bobblethon. You guys should participate. Currently we're behind Penn State, if we can get all of the the Michigan community to unite, we cna DESTROY PsU!
70% of the earth is covered in water, the rest is covered by Charles Woodson.
I voted
What? No Manning? The Tennessee contingent is gonna be pissed.
I voted. But it's a joke that Cabrera is not up for best MLB player (OT).
