Sweet stadium pics
This guy is going around the country taking photos of college stadiums. He doesn't have many up yet but Michigan is on there, the photos are pretty cool and def worth checking out.
thanks for providing.
my browser crashed when it saw the ohio state logo on the dude's hat, on his "about me" page.
I go to BGSU, and this guy makes the Doyt actually look pretty cool, until it is only filled with 7,000 fans.
But really, this guys has some really cool stuff. Thanks for the link.
It looks like HDR photography. Pretty cool stuff. That guy's camera only costs like 7 grand too.
Yeah, that's definitely HDR photography. TBH it looks like he just discovered HDR and is going nuts with it. He really needs to tone down some of the stuff a bit. I'm not even that good of an amatuer photographer and I think my HDR stuff looks on par with or better than his.
Yeah, it's not fantastic. Here's some great stuff for those who haven't seen this kind of thing before: http://www.2expertsdesign.com/inspiration/85-examples-of-beautiful-hdr-photography
Good HDR photography like that is absolutely stunning.
If you want to see some stunning HDR stuff, visit his site.. http://www.stuckincustoms.com/
It blew my mind when I first visited his site.
he has some really nice pictures, but overdid it with the HDR in a good number of them.
Oops. I had it confused with the Nikon d3x.
The D90 is $900.
Edit: I'm too slow! Beaten to the punch. Oh well.
Didn't realize that camera is that expensive. I think my sister has the same one. She used it to build her portfolio and got into Michigan's Art School. She'll be attending there this fall. Couldn't be more proud.
This is some beautiful art. I might have to order a print of the Big House.
Also thought they were fantastic and if I had the chance to inspect them in person I would probably purchase.
Those pics are amazing. Well done by him to do this. Pretty cool stuff.
EDIT: *Cough* Avatar *Cough*
Nice pictures.
I especially like the photos of the payer plaques that seem to emphasize the reflection of the flash bulb. Nice touch!
Its cool what he's doing, but I definately think he is overdoing it a little bit. A lot of the pictures look too fake and watercolor-ish for my taste. Still looks pretty cool though.
the graphics are over-saturated and look fake. The link to the stuckincutoms HDR site is awesome. Those are good examples of what HDR can do for a good pic. I can't wait to check out the finished suites for myself in a short while.... Go Blue!!!
Was the field turf photoshopped in? No block M on the field or writing in the endzones and the current photos of the stadium on mgoblue.com show the new turf is not in yet.
I know it's already been mentioned, but as an also aspiring amateur photographer, the blatant overuse of HDR is kinda sickening. It's like the guy went out and bought CS5, discovered the upgraded HDR features, and put it on full blast.
It's a shame because some of those might be really good with subtler processing, especially the wide angle shot from the corner of the stadium with the sun setting.
