Favorite College Football Uniforms
Nothing I hate more than Sunday evenings, even on a beautiful night like this. Boring as hell getting mentally ready for the week ahead. Anyway, to kill some type, I thought I'd ask this question:
What are your favorite college football uniform sets (other than Michigan:)
Florida State for me.
The helmets with the stickers are awesome. The colors, and several possible uniform combos (Maroon, Black, Gold and White), make it for me. I also like the seminole logo on the pants.
They have the sickest uniforms in college football other than Michigan.
Pretty much everyone can find an Oregon jersey they like.
Oregon has the coolest uniforms. Their color scheme is hit/miss for most people but I love it.
Texas. Traditional style, good logo and I like the burnt orange.
Texas looks sharp in their orange but awful in their whites.
I actually like Texas's all white uniforms. Something about that swarm of white taking the field looks pretty intimidating.
Like ...a ... FLOCK OF SEAGULLS. Yeah!
To me it looks like the invasion of the marshmallows. White's generic. The orange is more intimidating, it says, "Texas is here, motherfuckers."
It's not so much any intimidation factor, but I think Texas' all-whites are the best college football jersey outside of Ann Arbor. Their simplicity is their greatest asset, its such a stark, clean look that stands in sharp contrast to a lot of team's overly-busy uniforms. The 2004 Rose Bowl between us in Blue and them in White was just about the greatest uniform event in history.
Miami Hurricanes
The U. Always thought they had sweet unis. I also like Texas and Oregon. I like Grambling's as well.
Hell yea! Miami is my 2nd favorite team outside of Michigan. Those uniforms are so bad ass and I'm a supporter of Thug U. They played with passion!
FSU Home
Michigan Home
I really like the LSU alternates with the white helmet, purple jersey and white pants.
As for hate, I hate white jerseys with with pants, way too pajama like.
The University of Delaware has cool jerseys.
(Joe Flacco by the way)
And don't forget the helmets.
Please don't kill me for this.
I like Ohio State's home uniforms. They are simple and traditional. They don't change every four years or so like Oregon's (or Sparty now). The red really stands out against the green field, and matches well with the silver pants and helmet. The reflections on the helmets against the lights looks really cool when it works. Finally, the buckeye stickers they have are the best merit sticker program in the country, tied with Florida State.
I hate Ohio St., but must admit they have a nice uni set. For that matter, Penn St. has great ones as well. I am a big fan of old school simplicity.
The only part of Ohio State's uniform I like are the helmets. They're the only team I've ever seen make the stickers look acceptable.
Miami, I hate the team, but love the uniforms.
Our helmet's got wings.

Other than Michigan's? Auburn and USC.
And...I do like the Bengals uniforms in the NFL.
I like Alabama. The numbers on the helmets are cool. Also Nebraska.
1. Michigan (DUH)
2. Florida State (Gotta love the war chant too)
3. UCLA (Not too tough but classy and refined, very California)
4. USC (Not too popular at the moment but I was always a fan)
5. Texas (Coolest logo in college football)
Hate to say this but Notre Dame does have some nice uniforms. Except when they bust out the green jerseys.
I was watching some special on Big Ten Network the other day with my son and one of the clips was of ND in green. I had to explain that it was ND. He said, "that's before they decided to copy Michigan because our uniforms look so much better."
1 Michigan Wolverines
2 Adams Atoms
1) Penn State
2) Texas
3) Some of Oregon's jerseys
Michigan
Notre Dame
Ohio State
Texas
Penn State
Army
Washington. Definitely Washington. The purple and gold is really, really sharp. Looks good both home and road.
Gotta hand it to FSU, also - I really hate FSU but their unis look good as long as they stick with the simple garnet and gold or white and gold.
Anyone?
I really dislike LSU's. I've never liked the color combination.
Nah. Doesn't do it for me. And I hate their helmet. Actually one of my least favorite unis.
Washington's light purple, but not LSU dark purple? I feel exactly the opposite.
You are probably right on the Tigers helmet though.
I don't like the purple and yellow, and I especially don't like all that yellow with a little bit of purple added in. They hardly ever actually wear purple jerseys anyway. Purple's like orange, it looks awesome if you get it right and really terrible if you don't. Washington gets it right with the gold.
Fight on Broncos!
Penn State and Nebraska. The old style, tried and true.
I like Penn State's Homes. I don't Like their away look, but I'll admit after all these years the Nittany Lions would look weird with any other pants in the away scheme.
I really like Texas, Notre Dame, and Alabama's unis. My least favorite is Tennessee. Orange and football don't mix.
Burnt orange does? I hate Texas' uniforms.
Nothing is worse than the black uni's Tennessee wore last year.
Texas Tech has a good color scheme. It was pretty intimidating watching the black and red air raid under the lights on a Saturday night. I'll miss that for sure.
the Clemson all purple and all orange uni's.
I'm sorry, I must have misheard you. For a moment there I thought you said you liked Clemson's all-purple look.
along with UCLA, powder blue and gold does it for me
Virginia, at the end of George Welsh's time had great uniforms.
Thomas Jones
I also like Air Force's Uniforms:
