Who would like this song in the Big House?
I'm trying to find songs to play in the Big House this fall since everyone is getting tired of the same crap that every team plays. What do you think of this? I think it would be an amazing song for the pregame video
is fine by me. I'd go with this one though.
that post would of recieved an up vote from me. Always good to hear on gameday.
Seriously? "Of"?
guess i could have used another word
If you click the embed link at the bottom, you can copy the embedding code. Then, switch to the old plain text editor, paste it in and it should work.
OK, yeah, I guess I didn't switch to the plain text editor. Thanks!
now that i can, i did plus 1 you
can't play a brass rendition of it, then no.
This. Many times over, this.
I've always enjoyed Iron Maiden's music...but only their actual music. I'm about to commit metal blasphemy but Bruce Dickinson's voice makes me want to scrape out my ear innards with a rusty spoon.
Commence negbang.
My dad despises Bruce Dickinson... apparently they got in a brawl back in the day
He could've suggested Julia Priest! Football and battle music fit well together, because football is a battle. NFL films gets it right. Go with some NFL films music or Conan battle music. I don't think you can go wrong there. It's a shame the MMB doesn't play stuff like that.
I'm not a fan of his voice either, I just like how the song goes from quiet to loud.
Does Iron Maiden do a rendition of "Sweet Caroline"?
Bringing me back to FIFA '98 for N64 days.
Excellent choice. It'd drive the bluehairs wild.
Not to rehash the same argument once again, but the pipe- in music lowers our gameday experience to the level of minor league baseball. If we need to pipe in music, our band is highly capable of recording various tracks, drum beats, etc. that could work well. I understand that wiring the entire marching band for gameday sound would be nearly impossible, but if we can play Neil Diamond and Jock Jamz 28, we can record the band and play them through the PA. Hell, isn't boom-boom-clap one of the biggest arena hits?
Is this hypothetical or do you have some responsibility for what is piped into the Big House?
UMxWolverines is in high school I think.
hiphop, funk, and marching bands.
It would have been Sublime.
Going to see them next month. Not sure the powers that be are down but it would have a certain amount of something being blared through the stadium. Seems like they only play songs people know too and, sadly, this may be outside the realm.
maybe a theme song for Chris Rock? IDK
I would just play rap before the game to crank everyone up then just listen to the band after the game starts.
Eddie would like it.
I could see it used for a game at sometime....
another for you to ponder for a song/mix, i suggest that it's played in late november next year.
I would like experiment with some guitars in the band -they must have the right sound- and expand the drum section as well, then make up music for the brass section to back up and enhance those two sections...you have to imagine the brass backing this up, but I heard this and it sounded similar to my vision...
