It's annoying, but what can you do?
are we recruiting Zettel for defensive too or is it strictly offense?
He's on the recruiting board for the OL, and we definitely have a need there. I'd assume (though I'm not positive), that he's being recruited for offense.
We prefer him for OG but want to give him a chance to prove himself on defense. Not closing any doors, but not wholly encouraging him to play D either.
...now is if you've revealed yourself as Coach Frey or Coach Tall.
Only 3 stars?
does anyone else think that kid looks like Walt from LOST? or is that just me?
Decide that he wants to be called Christopher Rock or something. Never been a fan of the so-called comedian.
I don't care what his first name is, I just hope he gets a geology degree and becomes a professor. Professor Rock teaching geology would be nothing short of brilliant.
little Jackie Paper and Edward Scissors(hands). Then we will have an answer for any opponent.
What about Jack Candle?
Can appreciate that you don't like him, but I still think you'd call him a comedian, just a bad one.
But Chris Rock is funny! He shouts everything! And he has a goofy smile! That means he's funny!
Seriously, though, I've never seen anybody who looks more like a ventriloquist doll than Chris Rock. I would not be surprised to turn on the TV one day and see him sitting on Jeff Dunham's lap.
tell me you don't find this funny
only 4 and a half more years of hearing "jokes" about how this guy has the same name as another guy and we aren't even to Musberger, Pam Ward and the rest.
Not until we recruit a receiver named Mitch Hedberg.
Sounds too gritty to me. Too few steps between him and toast.
If he has a good senior year I definitely see him getting that fourth star.
Not to change the subject, but what do you all think of Greg Brown not having a Rivals rating yet? ND's 3 stars are all rated down to the 5.5 and 5.6 guys, yet nothing for Greg Brown. He was a guy with very early offers from both M and MSU, he has to be at least a 3-star, right?
EDIT: I just read an article on ohiovarsity.com linked to his profile that has him listed as the #4 DB in Ohio (the guys at #6, DerJuan Gambrell, is an OSU commit).

Good to see we landed another gem. RR is very good at landed players that are not well known but you can tell they are good . Chris Rock is a very good player with a ton of upside . Add another 30 pounds of muscle with his 6'5 frame he will be a force that is for sure . Good land RR
I'm happy to see we have received a commitment from a good football player. Our coach has a knack for finding good players who are unheralded recruits. Chris Rock has potential to be better than his current abilities suggest. If he gains 30 pound of the non-fat variety, he will be a better football player than currently. Rich Rodriguez, good job convincing him to come to our school.
He's not exactly an under-the-radar prospect. He's been watched for a couple years now at a successful school with a tradition of producing FBS prospects.
Rodriguez might have an eye for under-the-radar kids, but the recruitment of Chris Rock is irrelevant.
