Hello Zach Carpenter
Been saying this kid was a stud! OL gets some more help. 6'5 310 OG, from CInncinati Archbishop Moeller High School in Ohio. All nine of his Crystal Ball predictions were in favor of Clemson, goes to show you that not all analysts know exactly whats going on. Kid looks like a future All-American.

Good stuff!
Top Ohio program, perennially, at that. Nice.
What a day for Michigan!
Judging by 247's Crystal Balls feature, we just pulled the rug out from under Clemson.
top 500 player - high 3-star - I like it
it is very impressive to say the least.
Spoiler alert/click bait preventative: he was 100% to Clemson.
Oh, great. There goes our CFB Risk alliance. And for a 3.5*, no less.

If the roles were reversed and he had all Michigan CBs and he made a surprise commit to Clemson, everyone would be screaming about illegal payments.
7 OL class?
I guess if Hayes plays TE that leaves only 1 in 2018
He might wait himself out of a spot if he doesn’t hurry it up.
Harrod already announced a commitment date.
My point is, that date he set is late July. That may be too late for a spot in this class
Isn't Carpenter more of an interior guy?
And aren't the reviews on Barnhart that he is much more of a tackle prospect than initially thought?
All of which is to say, yes, I'd still like Harrod
Hayes will be a tackle, you can't take only 1 OL but 3 TE in the same recruiting class. I've never been high on Harrod, and it sounds like Ed Warinner is making a big push for Trevor Keegan anyways. Sam mentioned Bryce Benhart as another player visiting soon to keep an eye on.
I haven't been listening to WTKA recently. FInishing the Class with Benhart and Keegan would be crazy!
Not sure if he mentioned it on his radio show or not, but he posted it on the 247 message board.
As for Harrod, Lorenz mentioned tonight he has had a tough spring.
I feel like Warinner is probably going to try and key on Keegan, Benhart, and probably some higher ranked tackle/s exclusively since the rest of the class is pretty much done in his position group. Thanks for the info
I feel like the Keegan recruitment is one UM can and should win. His mom is a UM fan and so is his high school coach I believe. Wiltfong said tonight UM is "firmly in the top 2" and it sounds like they are close to overtaking OSU as his leader.
Wow. It almost sounded Michigan was fading with him. Surprised at the timing. Awesome pickup for Michigan!
Wow this day just keeps getting better!!!
Go Blue!
he was supposed to visit Clemson June 12th
surprised he committed before that visit
Just a great Wednesday overall.
The President of Archbishop Moeller is a Michigan MBA!

It has indeed been a good day.
I think I just bastardized a rather well-known movie quote in saying that, but the message is the same.
Momma cooked breakfast with no hog?
committal?
Great day indeed. Glad to see the new OL coach is making a difference, or so it seems.
That is one large future Wolverine. Is he playing against smurfs in his Hudl video?
Moeller is D1 in Ohio, which is the top level. He plays against a very high level of competition.
He is going Hulk smash on everyone. Like Godzilla v the Leprechauns. Kinda like that game, coming up, you know . . .
A Michigan Wolverine!
*great
Yeah wtf?
'THEYY'RRRRE GOOOOD'
Way to Go Blue!
Ok get. Class will finish much behind Ohio State at the rate we're going but the guy has a Clemson offer which is better than a BC or Uconn offer guy.
OSU 10.
Can’t use logic with him.
#FACTS
Just want to be miserable
Maybe maizen hacked into his account....or maybe he IS maizen?!?!?!
Or, is Thatmottasagoblinatroll?
Good luck reading that bit of insight . . . .
People here just want to focus on the fact we are not getting Dobbs or Brown.
Meyer just came down to Texas and grabbed the best WR in the state - the kid is an absolute stud. I kind of wish Harbaugh would recruit Texas a little more.
Last year...go on...
and what exactly does that have to do with two 5-star OL from in-state this year?
It was not your style when you had Thad as an Avatar.
Michigan has two 5 star OL in its backyard, and it seems the staff won't close on either of them. I see nothing wrong with being disappointed about that.
On the other hand, the staff doesn't have Meyer's record. Things are building that way, and with a few breaks, it could've been very different, but that's how things are. Also, Michigan doesn't systematically recruit dirty. So, at least at this point in Harbaugh's tenure, the team isn't poised to recruit at Ohio State's level.
Still, when you're not quite elite, you've got to be opportunistic, and not reeling in top, seemingly attainable talent at a position of historically poor performance is understandably disappointing.
Pretty great day overall, what say you Jim?
