is there an escape clause in the Jumpman deal?
my thoughts exactly, havent purchased a single thing from Nike yet
Why not? I haven't either, but I have looked a bunch at their stuff. I just never dig it. Honest question: What is Nike not doing well?
I have that sweatshirt that Harbaugh wears in the sideline, and I like it, but I’m not so large that some other people’s sizing complaints are an issue for me.
Nike tends to fit human sized people. Those shaped more like houses or giant piles of logs complain that NIKE is too small for them. So why not size up you might ask? Well some mutants are already at an XXXXL and... well... Apparently complaining is easier than not working towards developing type III diabetes.
I resemble that remark!
You don’t have to be fat to not enjoy the sizing. Sometimes I want to wear something skin tight other times loose fitting. Sizing up adds more material but still hugs the skin IMO.
I’m human sized, and I just find that there’s a weird tightness in my armpits with the unisex/men’s T-shirt’s. I fave a women’s sweatshirt, and that fits fine. But I can’t just size up in T-shirt, just fits weird.
Human sized? While I do resemble your generalization, my childhood friend of 20 plus years has wore an XL for the last decade and still does, EXCEPT in Nike apparel. Apparently he is 2xl to them and it's not close.
While we're on the subject, if you're over 6 foot tall apparently you have mutated beyond recognition as well. Belly shirts for everybody I say!
So yes, human sized hobbits from The Shire wear their clothing well, the rest of us colossuses are cast out into the relm of the off brands....
The horror!
I bought a t-shirt for $30 and the fricking print pealed off after four months. No more for me.
We would be dumb to exercise it. Moving to Nike/Jumpman had more to do with recruiting than fan support. Fans are going to support regardless, but recruits love the gear and the exclusive gear is a huge draw to today's teenagers.
Short shorts needed
+1. Seems like official maize and blue running shorts (with a subtle M) would sell well.
Definitely want The Team x3 shirt. The rest is fine but nothing else jumps out at me.
I see what you did there
NON OF THIS SHIT FITS!
My T shirt is a XL and I spent $40 on a “Respect is Earned” and after 1-2 washes it barely fits my 13 yr old son who is 125 pounds.
I’m sick of this shit not fitting proper. I miss Adidas
I have not been impressed since the initial set of gear came out. Meh.
Thank you WD! Add this to the recruiting threads and things feel like they are almost back to normal on the board!
When did I sign in for a fashion blog? I wouldn't care less if the team wears fruit of the loom.....
I didn't sign up for a blog where people talk about cars, but you know what I do with the Talking Cars Tuesday threads? I don't click on them.
Then I did - way better than I expected
Didn’t sign up for soccer, either. (Ducks and hides quickly)
I was mistaken.
that you thought "Talking Cars Tuesday" was about the 60's sitcom "My Mother the Car", you might have actually convinced me.
I realize that these threads sometimes cause strong feelings because of who posts them, but in the OT season, a thread previewing gear that some folks here will probably buy might - in a roundabout way - go a little farther than a thread which, oh, talks us through the process of expressing a dog's anal glands or something along those lines.
I mean, for the time being, it's a free service, so when you signed up, you signed up for everyone's obessions too, especially in the late April to late August timeframe.
For the time being?
Is winter coming?
I signed up for obessions? When do I get them and what are they?
Yea I didn’t pay for this blog to read about fashion.

Purposely clicking on this particular link and replying is way more effort than it took to sign up.
get you a fruit of the loom shirt before the start of the season?
Always appreciate those that care enough to announce to all how little they care as though anyone asked.
Jordan on my M gear. Pass.
I have not purchased any of the jumpman stuff for just this reason. I can handle the swoosh. Don't need the basketball player on my non basketball stuff.
Thanks WD – Since going back to Nike, I think this is the best Jordan/Nike collection yet. Nike-wise, this is pretty subdued, which I think looks great for Michigan.
Only wish they'd add more caps height to the arched MICHIGAN letters. Wonder if they'll ever edit that logo again.
I'd really like some of these pieces of clothing if they didn't have Jordan's dumb logo on them. It must make me an old, but what I care about is the name of the school, not the fact Jordan has a deal with Nike, as interesting as that is to his accountants.
I so like the last couple of shorts, though $75 sure seems a bit high.
But I will generally say that the move to Nike has improved the color of the gear. The blue definitely pops more than I remember with Adidas.
IDK, $75 sounds good compared to those $100 shorts with the zippers from last year
True. I am always a bit amazed by the mark-up on the Nike stuff, though.
Great stuff. Love the team shirt and the polo shirts
$75 for a generic pair of shorts? Man I love Nike but that’s way too much for those.
That swoosh is a bit big.
So that Nike football thing was a transformer this whole time?
You can buy The Team,The Team,The Team shirt from the MGoStore at a much cheaper price. BTW
I cringe every time I hear the "The Team, The Team, The Team" clip in the stadium. I think it's been overplayed.
and the profits help support MGoBlog.
A much better choice---what's not to like?
Since I am a PGA Professional and wear loudmouth golf everyday...Michigan now has a license with them. I already have the pants and sportcoat on order.
I sure am glad that I am a patient man because I would never pay suggested retail price for this stuff. Between TJ Maxx, Marshall's, discount websites and the spring sales at Dick's and Campus Corner I always find this stuff for 25-50% less.
but did like the dry fit $26 nike shirts they are offering.
I at least appriciate that a lot of the designs are basic and clean. I love my nike polo shirt that I got. All solid blue (I hate all the stripes and crap) with the M logo on chest and the nike swoosh on arm. Material is great and fits nice.
I'm ok with paying for quality but wow, $70 t-shirts seems like an error.
