You should try embedding or linking the tweet. At the least, cut/paste in what he said...
For not linking the tweet and because Dakich is a traitor
...because he cannot form full sentences.
And because I have a feeling he was being a smart ass with that tweet. Instead of saying thanks for the four years he says thanks for letting him play a fifth year.
Maybe, but I doubt it, since he called both "mentors."
I do think he was genuinely thanking Beilein for allowing him to redshirt his fourth year so he could play somewhere else his fifth year though. Don't think that was sarcasm.
I'm sorry, but you could be reading too much between the lines and assuming snarkiness (new word!).
If he did say thanks for the 4 years, someone may have said why would he have thanked JB for the 4 years as he hardly played him much, wow AD is being such a smart ass.
for those 4 years when he left last year. You're looking for something that isn't there.
A traitor? He wasn’t gonna get any playing time here. No shame in what he did.
He didn't exactly have many options for either.
No shame at all in making the best possible decision out of not great options. Still, he ain't family no more(as evidenced by the boos during the OSU game).
Sigh
Sad.
Do I need to refresh? His new coach left the school he was going to. He followed him to his new school. OSU. SO THE FUCK WHAT. He got his Michigan degree. Can't you just appreciate that?
Dakich was going to Quinnipiac, but they didn't let him into the program he applied for. Butler had been his only other offer. When Butler's coach went to OSU he renewed the offer.
Thank to Coach Beilein for allowing me to play a 5th year, even it was at OSU. I was beyond grateful to have these 2 coaches as my mentor

Looks like that OSU education had a deleterious effect on our erstwhile bench-warmer.
Damn you literally beat me to the punch with that one. It was all downhill once he hit OSU’s campus.
How does one literally get beat to the punch? Is this some sort of kool-aid melee?
no snark here.
Did you just start a thread about a tweet and not post the tweet (or even a link)? Really?
today and said some great things about our recruitment. You should have seen it.
Well played.
The video is online. I just watched it. You guys should go check it out.
great UM alum. Sorry that, like, half our fanbase were dicks about it for no reason.
this blog has a hard time with a guy who just wants to play ball.... and appreciates his coaches.. good job andrew and go blue...... and i hate to tell you guys that the guy at osu is a lot better than than the guy at kansas and unc and louisville and arizona and syracuse..........
Most people here didn't blame Dakich for his decision, even if it we hoped he'd have had better options.
Truth.
I will always remember him as my favorite bench player ever at Michigan. His cheerleading was one of a kind and I have no ill will for his 5th year at OSU. If I was at the game when OSU came to Crisler, I would have cheered him.
doesn't read like snark, kid is just thanking both of his coaches
or his transfer even if it was to OSU. But, that didn’t sound like much of a thank you to Beilein for the 4 years that he spent in the Michigan program. Sounded to me like he enjoyed his one year with the bucks more than the 4 at UM and was only thanking Beilein for letting him transfer.
Maybe not how it was intended, but it is the way it sounded to me.
I heard an interview with him on espn during the tourney and he was nothing but very grateful for his time at Michigan.
I mean he did get a lot more playing time at OSU... He probably did enjoy that one year more than any of the years at UM from a pure basketball perspective. And nothing wrong with that.
Natural to enjoy 1 yr at OSU more than 4 at UM. Playing time 1 yr >>>4 years here.
his junior year (?). We actually could have used 5 minutes a game from him that year. Coach B. did him a favor. He got to be a college bball player for 5 years. Sounds pretty awesome to me.
