...when they cut to his announcement that I didn't even notice his little dance beforehand. And I didn't see the after, either, as I was jumping around yelling.

I was high-fiving my 3-year old daughter who still walks around the house saying: "Sam McGuffie's the man..." I haven't broken the news to her yet...

I was looking for this. I understand that all the kids are doing it, but I really wish we could skip the whole hat thing. MGoEOD - just teach her to say "Brandon Minor is the man", "Big Will will crush Pryor" and never mention McGuffie again. She will figure it out. Of course, social services may come calling, but who cares. FWIW - I have three daughters (ages 9, 7, and 5) all have been to the Big House. My oldest screams "State Sucks" at the end of the Victors. I am so proud.

when Campbell gets his first sack in a meaningful moment in a big game. As any 18-yr-old would, he's obviously enjoyed the limelight and attention over the last couple of months stemming from his decommit-and-recommit drama, but I hope he understands he's also ratcheted up the expectations many Michigan fans have for him. Those who are expecting Alan Branch-2006 performances as a freshman are very likely to be disappointed, so people are going to have to keep doing reality checks. It's perfectly possible that the most dominating DL we get in this class will be Graves or Jones (assuming they do sign). It happens every year on every team—some big-time recruit never quite pans out, and some unheralded 3-star ends up being the stud. This is where the Barwis effect is interesting. There's no going half-way with Barwis, and I wonder if Campbell has a clue what's in store for him, especially mentally.

It's clear now that Big Will doesn't care what a bunch of old white guys think of him. He's just a kid having fun. I think sometimes we expect too much from these kids. That video cracks me up.
