Michigan's 20 game win streak came to an end last night at Iowa, as the Wolverines could not climb out of the 4-0 they dug, losing 4-2.

Today started similarly as Iowa took a 2-0 lead after a 2nd inning homer. But this time Michigan climbed out of the hole and then some.

Just a half inning later, Michigan tied the game at 2 with a run by Christian Bullock and a sac fly for Ako Thomas.

Michigan took the lead in the 3rd on a solo shot by freshman phenom Jesse Franklin and added to it with a 4th inning bases loaded walk drawn by Jonathan Engelmann and then a sac fly by--you guessed it--Jesse Franklin to make it 5-2.

The Wolverines made it 7-2 in the 5th with a sac bunt by Brock Keener and a wild pitch that scored Jordan Nwogu.to Michigan up 7-2.

Michigan added 3 runs in the 8th inning on RBIs by Nwogu and Engelmann, as well as another bases loaded walk.

Michigan would go on to win 10-2. Erik Bakich's 200th career win at Michigan (200-131-3) in 6 seasons at the helm.

Michigan is now 25-12 and 12-1 in the B1G.

The rubber game is set for tomorrow at 12:05pm.
