From 247 (emphasis added)

"I just want to see what it's like there how the players live and stuff like that," Couch recently told 247Sports analyst Andrew Ivins. "I just want to see what they do on a day-to-day basis and the education. I'm talking a lot with [defensive coordinator Don Brown]. He loves me. He tells me that I'm the No. 1 corner on his board all the time."

Yeah, the truth does work. This staff has been very open (with the team) about where people stand. I think athletes appreciate that. They get that someone has to be #1, and like most people, they'd prefer to know exactly what they're dealing with and exactly what they need to do to improve.

If I were a recruit, I'd prefer a school that openly ranked their players and recruits over one that said some obvious lie like we think all our players are equally good, or a school that refused to share their opinions.

Camp season hasn't started yet so I'm taking the 247 weight as an old number.

Jourdan was playing at a listed 175 and topped out around 185 so he's not far off that mark. Obviously can't project him to be an All-American before he starts his senior year of HS but that is a recent size comp that worked out just fine in this defense.

With a college weight and nutrition program, if a kid doesn’t bulk up it’s vecause that kid isn’t working hard. It is physically impossible to train the way they do, eat the way they do and not bulk up if someone wanted to bulk up. Hitting the weights with a kick arse strength coach + pounding your body with protein= weight gain.

Just a 4-star? Cripes! We are NEVER going to beat Ohio state again if we can’t bring in 5-star talent! #Maizened

I get ya, but I have no problem if someone wants to rip Terry Richardson as a Michigan player (objectively looking at his performance and making a fair analysis...even if it is not positive).  Doesn't look good, but they have that right.  As a player he was a tremendous let down.

Furthermore, as I type this, Terry Richardson is laughing all the way to the bank.  He got a FREE 4 year degree from one of the Nations leading Public insitutions.  That is what is most important.  Give my kid a free 4 year degree to Michigan and you can rip him all day long on a random message board.  LOL

How many stars were you as a football recruit? How much of his gold did you watch? Did you interview him? Call his references? If not, Stop being a d-bag and accept that our coaches see something in the kid that they Value. Love the fact that he chose to wear the Maize and Blue. If you can’t, burn your fan gear and go buy a green or red shirt and be wmbrassed by their crap cultures. If not, Man up and support or team.

Weird thing is when you Google his name, there is a picture and statement below the 247 link that lists him at 6'0 160. his face looks older than the picture after you click the link where it also lists him at 5'9.5 148 but the dreads are about the same length.

I want whichever version Don Brown has at the top of his board.

I want that guy on the offensive side of the ball, personally. Our rivals laughed when we gave him a scholarship, but we'll see who's laughing when Wheatley, Jr. picks up Lillipute McTiny in the end zone and throws him 50 feet in the air to catch an uncontestable ball over and over for endless free touchdowns. Checkmate, Urban.

From his film he's like a nat just keeps buzzing around the receiver and he sure seems to like to play Man which Don Brown will love and seems physical for his size
