Was the spring game cancellation unnecessary?
Enjoy the submarine until August!
Looks like we'll just watch football series on amazon
Series. Would rather be at the big house but this will be a good consolation watch
So it may seem unnecessary now, but earlier in the week it made perfect sense. The thing I'm a little worried about is how not having a spring game will affect recruiting. We've already seen a bunch of commits to FSU and Clemson today during their spring games, with some others sprinkled in, and I feel like having a spring game for us has a similar effect to that of the Big House BBQ. So I guess we'll see how this weekends visits go minus the spring game
But I feel like the spring game is one of those key recruting events that hooks recruits and it's an experience that recruits only have a few times when picking a school.
... in the Jack Roth Stadium Club. I had an invite, and confirmed. And I promptly blew it off, when I heard about the weather cancellation. Didn't much feel like going out anyway.
What I am wondering, is if they went ahead with the indoor gathering anyway (I don't think that I ever got a true cancellation notice for the tailgate, come to think of it), and when the weather appeared to be okay, they moved the practice that had been relocated to Glick due to weather, back to the Stadium. And thereby gave the tailgate patrons in the Concourse a surprise showing.
As much as I feel wierd and about it and regret having missed it, if in fact Michigan's football team went ahead and played in the rain today, I'd be glad to have that news shoved down Urban Meyer's throat.
Ann Arbor is under a winter weather advisory starting at 8PM. Freezing rain is expected with hazardous driving conditions.

Let's allow Doris Day to answer that question, shall we?
Thank God
It hasn't rained in A2 at all for the last two hours and was only drizzling here this morning.
Scheduling it as a night event was stupid from the get-go, though.
WUT. Sometimes I hate Michigan.

is what i see on weather.com. yes it was the right decision to cancel.
Fans travel from all over the state and back so have to take a much broader view that just what's happening in and near AA.
They could at least record some video of some practice for us.
Well, the weather sure sucks 90 miles north here in Bay City. I am missing getting a look at the team though.
why take a chance of injury. they are still doing it inside.
Did they promise some video?
Canceling an event days in advance in Mich for weather concerns raised by a forecast is dumb.

counseling for your anger issues if that's the case
Do you mean Cuenca or Quito? Two vastly different, but both very nice, cities.
