A. Why is she still on campus after this whole debacle? They couldn't buy her out of her tenure or anything?

B. Her husbands ''senior advisor to the executive vice president for administrative services'' position sounds like they strung together a bunch of important titles and made up a position, lol.

I really hope she got that well deserved raise that the staee board wanted to give her for her outstanding leadership.

I am SURE that she must have reviewed AND signed off on the 2010 william strempel performance appraisal as I would presume that he was a direct report or at least no more than 1 level down.

Contained to that room with a ankle  tracking monitoring device?

Im also guessing she knows where all the bodies are buried and are paying her Hush money..Izzo and Dantonio afe probably very nervous about right now...I dont see how either one of them survives given all the athletes they protected from sexual assault charges

Upvoted for knowing where the bodies are buried, but I think her golden parachute probably makes them less nervous.  Staee has done nothing to demonstrate a sincere interest in getting to the bottom of things and changing their culture. This is just another move in a long line of moves demonstrating their willingness to protect their own above the search for the truth.  On the otherhand, if their cluster of a board of regents came out with a statement saying they were voiding her retirement and tenure and she was no longer welcom on campus, then izzo and mork would really start to sweat.

Why should Mork and Izzo be nervous? I don’t see either getting forced out but hope I am wrong.

She is going to be questioned quite a bit, I am sure they want her thinking good thoughts about her former employer, so they are going to be nice to her.

There is no place for her in this world outside State. That’s the root of the problem here. She’s a Stoogie. It’s state or a bus bench.

I think they are trying to demonstrate that even though they get it, you don't deserve to tell them they need to get it, but they will do whatever they want irregardless of what you think.  Plus they own all the power in Ingham county.  Especially handing criminal sexual assault cases to the Elders of the local Amish community to hand down sentences of "seducing unmarried women."

MSU is a national disgrace, a fucking joke, a city-wide tire fire, a cautionary tail of cronyism run amok, and a monument to incompetence.

Expel them from the conference.

is that when they leftthe B10, replaced by MSU, they did so with the proviso that they could rejoin the conference at their discretion, and push MSU back out.  Likely apocryphal, but as a UC alum, a brother can hope!

She won't have to worry about being assaulted. At least by my a male heterosexual. Have you taken a good look at this despicable freak. I'm sure her so called husband spends as much time on the road as possible.

Do what you want. Put it right out in the open and dare someone to do something about it. This is we fired her but we don’t really think she did anything wrong move.

Meanwhile, in East Lansing Tire Fire news, the rape victim's family is publicly blasting the Ingham County Prosecutor's Office for the seduction charge against the 3 former Spartans.

The parents are saying that the whole time they have felt that Ingham County cared more about protecting the football players than seeking justice for the rape and that their daughter has been villified.

She actually says that she offered the guys a way out (they will be on the field playing for a different college in the fall) because (those felony convictions for things such as rape that require perpetrators to register on the sex offender registry) should only be required (in her op-ended I'm going to decide to bypass the state and federal Supreme Courts on this one, Lansing) and the registry should only include convictions that will likely

result in recidivism - child abuse and child sexual assault, for example, or serial rapists

Unfortunately she hasn't taken this same approach for the 5 other charges in similar circumstances recently.

This is the world we live in. Bad guys win, good guys lose.

Unless she gets taken away in handcuffs, she’s got a cushy retirement life until she meets the grave.

ESPN just reported that Izzo let a walk-on suit up for every game this year after being charged with sexual assault. OTL asked Larry Engler about this earler in the year and he attacked their reporting and said that they should apologize to him for reporting his name without evidence.

This is what you get when you try to change a toxic green and white culture by injecting more green and white.  The incompetence there will reign for generations.

When it comes to PR MSU is Textbook about what NOT TO DO!..They basically have circled the wagon, denied Everything and are in complete Denial...That never ends well

Can you imagine the uproar if all of this were happening at U-M? Or nearly any other university? MSU's PR office is doing a good job buying off or distracting the press somehow.

EDIT: ESPN is an obvious exception.

Oh well. Like the old saying goes, give 'em enough rope and they'll hang themselves.

It’s not easy to get rid of a tenured professor, unless they clearly violated policy. Moving her to this office probably is intended to isolate her from the general population on campus which makes some sense given the scrutiny. Regardless of the reason, this looks awful for Sparty. Simon looks like she is getting a great deal.
