OT: The Juan Harris saga continues

Submitted by Magnus on

Some of you may not care about Juan Harris, but he had a very interesting recruitment coming out of high school. Some sites had him as a 4-star, and he ended up as a 3-star and #879 overall. Michigan offered him and he visited, but things were never extremely serious. Anyway, aside from transferring high schools, he did the following:

Committed to Iowa: December 1, 2014
Decommitted from Iowa: January 1, 2015
Committed to Iowa: January 18, 2015
Decommitted from Iowa: March 15, 2015
Committed to Iowa: June 25, 2015
Decommitted from Iowa: June 15, 2016
Committed to Indiana: July 25, 2016
Decommitted from Indiana: October 16, 2016
Committed to Indiana: November 24, 2016
Enrolled at Indiana: January 5, 2017

Well, I have a surprise for you:

He's transferring from Indiana (LINK).

It's an even weirder story than what happened with Jordan Payton, IMO. Payton was committed to USC, Cal, and Washington before signing with UCLA.

Yep, Chris Clark. Committed to UNC, then UM, then UCLA. Left Pasadena and was supposed to go to Syracuse, I think, but wound up at Pitt and just announced he was taking a leave of absence from the team.

One of my favorite Brian lines ever:

"Somewhere in the fields of Iowa there is a 400-pound defensive tackle who has already commited to the Hawkeyes three times and recinded it twice.

Nobody has to make America great again; it never ceased being great"

like once the all-you-can eat places start denying him entry, he looks to move on. Once he finds out they have changed management, he moves back in.

This has nothing to do with football, and everything to do with the Golden Corral Management structures in Iowa City and Bloomington.
