Moe's performance tonight was the best by a Michigan big man since . . . Chris Webber?  Tractor Traylor?

Mitch had a couple of 20-10 games IIRC, but I don't remember him taking over a game quite like this.

Wagner, who became the third player in the last 40 years with a 20 and 15 game in the Final Four, joining Hakeem Olajuwon of Houston in 1983 (then known as Akeem) and Larry Bird of Indiana State in 1979.

Also, and this is huge: 1 foul. Really helped to not have to worry about the fouls on Mo coming down the stretch. But he was still aggressive on the boards (obviously) and the steals. So good.

and said less today.  Quoted in interview after the game saying he did not want to be too emotionally drunk out there.  His best game of the year imo.

I'll praise him some more.

Fantastic leadership, and absolutely ciritical offensive boards. That's not normally Michigan's game, but against Loyola, it was essential.

Thank you Moritz!

About 10 days ago I thought there was no chance he'd make it in the NBA........I no longer think that. He still needs to improve his shot from outside but I think he'll at least get an opportunity.
