Under 5.5 punts. Book it!
So to be clear, you say take Loyola and the points...
typo humor, catch the fever!
Dammit!!!
No mercy on this board. Once a response is made, no way to edit. It's happened to me so many times.

Sorry. I couldn't help myself.
I like Michigan -5.5. I think Michigan has a good chance of blowing their doors off. And if we can't shoot I think we can cover anyways. The only thing that would concern me is late game free throws making it closer than it should be, a la FSU.
March 31st, 2018 at 10:25 AM ^
One team hot or cold, ref show, fouls at the end, who knows. 5.5 is probably the midpoint so good luck
I've already gambled on our love.
March 31st, 2018 at 12:09 PM ^
Is that why they had to leave?
If you've reached such despair that you've come to this place for gambling advice, you've already lost.
I can't bring myself to bet against the team or jinx them by betting on them.
Only table games for me, thanks.
Been betting Michigan moneyline since the first Big Ten Tourney game....Profit.
If LOYCHI wins, I win my bracket for a couple thousand dollar payoff. HOWEVER..... go blue!
The pure joy of seeing Michigan win a national championship is worth more than a few thousand dollars. We will never forget this season if they ended it on a 15 game win streak and 2 championship trophies!
and 2 championship trophies.

will inevitably be whether we can recommend any places to watch the game while he's in Vegas.
J/k... I'm actually headed home today, will be watching the game from the comfort of my own couch.

I want to go watch the game at a casino sportsbook but have decided to watch it in my room. Last time I watched Michigan in Vegas (Last year) a "Sparty asshole" - I know, redundant thought he was the show we all came to watch. Everytime Louisville scored he would holler and run around celebrating - Good guys won thankfully but made it less enjoyable.
Will watch this game shirtless in my room alone with delivery pizza and my best friend Jack Daniels......GO BLUE
I would never gamble with my money. Only my life.
You must live in Flint
March 31st, 2018 at 10:34 AM ^
People in Flint are trapped - their housing values dropped - can’t sell - can’t escape - have to live with the stress - glad you can make a joke about it you excrement!
You sit there on your loathsome spotty behind squeezing blackheads not caring a tinkers cuss for the struggling Flint-ites, making snide comments on a sports-blog for a cheap nose laugh or two to make your sad life less bleak.

and apologies to John Cleese
Best bet today is a Moneyline parlay michigan/Villanova. Pays about 1:1 and don’t have to worry about the points.
Book it!
Always remember, scared money don’t make money.

You are broke
1) Stay away from that 5.5 Line. That looks fair.
2) Take the Over on the 129.5. Will be more scoring than people think.
3) If you are making multiple bets at the Sports Book - Make them separately over reasonable time increments, and every time you place an individual bet, ask the dude or lady running it for free drink vouchers. You'll get more vouchers if space out the bets.
4) Get out of that Sports Book by 10 AM and head to the pool. Have a cocktail or two, get some sun, and check out the bikinis. Game doesn't start for several hours - make good use of your time, my friend.
5) If you score a hottie at the pool - When it comes down to making out, always play Side One of Led Zepplin IV.

but I am the worst sports gambler on my block. It has been proven. But I would bet the money line on Michigan. 5.5 seems like too much.
And as for your Zeppelin reference, you heard of these 21 yr. olds from Frankenmuth?

My equanimity

You know no one tells how they bet UNTIL the game is over. Then all the sudden there's a bunch of WINNING going on!
Remember the last soccer season when the British team that had never won anything in like a thousand years all the sudden won it? The odds were something like 400 zillion to 1?
Yup, some guy posted here that his "father in law" had bet a thousand on that team (Leicester City??).
Just wait until the tourney is over to get gambling adivce. It'll come in spades.
March 31st, 2018 at 10:55 AM ^
Well this is awkward, I bet $1000 on a Loyola and Michigan making it to the Final Four. Been a good tourney, also had $1000 on Virginia going down to the 16. Also, feeling good on my bet on the finals, but I can’t tell you more detail until around 11-12 Monday night.

I’ll see what I can find out, need to talk to my uncle Biff first

I always had a rule to never bet on Michigan games. I just couldn’t trust myself to be objective.

Never bet on a game with your own team.

I tool the Loyola ML as a hedge against a loss. Will be happy to lose the money.

in Vegas right now - I walk past Pete Rose everyday in a little sports shop just outside the Mandalay Bay - thinking of seeking his advice on how to bet on these games. I don't want to jinx the good guys so I will probably just keep my money in my wallet. I think it will be a frustrating game for some reason but the good guys will win by 7 or 8....Go Blue

I’m not a betting man, but even if I was I don’t think I could do it. I just couldn’t enjoy the game.
I never bet on my own team.
March 31st, 2018 at 12:20 PM ^
is gonna have a breakout game tonight? I feel even more confident now, Good guys 75-60.
March 31st, 2018 at 12:28 PM ^
I'd stick with KenPom if I was, but I have a sense we run them out of the gym and win by 15-20. They had favorable matchups with teams missing players. We are healthy. We can pull their big out of the lane and then Matthews can feast on their smaller defenders. He has trouble when he goes inside and is met by 6'9" or 6'10" guys. Loyola doesn't have those guys. This will be like the non-conference games where everyone was singing his praises. When Loyola starts to help by sagging into the lane, that opens up Duncan and Moe. I've got Matthews with 18-20 points and 6 assists. We hit at least 10 threes and win comfortably. Loyola is not able to get good looks against our defense. They commit 2-3 shot clock violations and have to jack up 5-6 bad shots to beat the clock. Michigan outrebounds the smaller Loyolans, forces more TOs and we make hay with 10 extra possessions.
March 31st, 2018 at 12:46 PM ^
I have a feeling our D will shut them down. But there's always going to be that guy that is drilling all the shots for the other team and will keep them in the game probably early into the second half. But then our shooters will take over and we will win by double digits after a few missed front end FT's down the stretch that will make my blood boil. That's how I see it. I have two wagers, one on -5 and the other on -5.5.
But Kansas +5 . Also the under 7 on the Mariners game.
