Go Blue for Xavier Simpson Day
Lima City Schools are honoring Simpson today. Students were encouraged to wear Michigan gear (those who root for the evil Buckeyes can wear plain blue tops).
According to Superintendent Ackerman:
We’re really proud of him. To sit back and watch him play in the Sweet 16 and to hear the commentators said "Zavier Simpson from Lima Senior High School in Lima, Ohio," he’s put us on the map. We want to support Zavier. We’re all behind him and proud of him.
How cool is that!

Forgotten? It was the setting for the TV show Glee. I'm sure that brought more attention than a point guard in the Final Four. But it's still cool, no doubt.

Lima....the home of Kewpee Burgers. Awesome little fast food joint. I am friends with Zavier's Uncle. He is an evil buckeye supporter but I did get him to start wearing a Michigan hoodie on game days.

2 years. Kewpee was awesome! As was Mark Pi's. Miss those places...

Not really. It's only Zavier this year bc of the B1G rule of having the roster match your birth certificate. Pretty sure he still prefers X.
