Both of these teams are well coached and smart. I'm glad we played FSU last night and not texas tech and Villanova is essentially just Michigan in terms of philosophy with better shooters, would prefer to not have them be in the championship. Rather have Duke to be honest

Similar to Motel Putingrad, my wife and daughter are at horseback riding lesson, so my son and I are sitting here watching Villanova / Texas Tech. It works out. We even have all the pets on our side for now as well, since they are all in the family room.

A lot of mistakes and fouls by Texas Tech. Villanova looks tough, but beatable right now. Let's see if Nova starts to put on a shooting clinic.

But holy fuck does nova get away with everything. Brunson pushes and extends that arm literally every possession. They all travel when they catch it and try to drive. Brunson takes two steps then hops every drive which if my math is correct is 4. I swear this is the West Virginia game all over again except the refs didn’t waste time in giving the game away this time out. They are the Ohio state offensive line of college basketball.

Well, TT got off to a great start but it feels like Nova just has too much for them.

Ugh, just saw the 1993 recap - "North Carolina executed just enough down the stretch to beat Michigan" - well, I guess that's one way to put it...

Nova is scary good. Unlike Duke, Kansas, Kentucky, etc, they're the only basketball juggernaut that I have no ill will towards. Jay Wright seems like a decent dude too. I don't want to meet them in the finals though.

Difference is those free throw attempts. Even it up everything else equal thus could be close. However, Villanova could go all death from above in the second half.

If we were fortunate enough to get past Loyola in the semi-final, I could not see us beating Villanova unless we had a Texas A&M or @Purdue type of night on offense.

Wouldn’t matter how well the defense played. You can’t afford to fall behind to those guys. They’d absolutely bury you in a barrage of 3’s and leave you for dead.

TTU is giving everyone a blueprint on how to defend Nova. Put Z on Brunson and don't help off of anyone else. Brunson is the only one that seems capable of creating his own shot for Nova (at least against TTU)
