Strong candidate to replace Rutgers in the next round of B1G relegation.

Do I root GLIAC as a Wayne State grad, or tell you where you can go?

garnet and gold vs. crimson and gold.
Both schools' football peak was in the mid-90s.

Ferris was in the national semis two years ago, and lost in the QF this year on a last second FG. Annese has us rolling right now.

It is good to see the football team doing well now. They were hot garbage while I was there.
is a great coach and adapt his offensive system while sticking with his core offensive principle. He has won everywhere he has coached. FSU was lucky to scoop him up and now, they're at the level that GVSU was at several years ago. They're churning out a couple NFL athletes each year.

I went there a few times before I finally graduated!!!!
I feel like those of us in GR should find a real shit hole to watch the game at. You know, in honor of the Alibi (RIP).

Oh, Jesus. You had to go and bring up the Alibi?!?! Too many flashbacks from that place. Between that and getting kicked out of the Taco Bell drive-thru after one of those events...

One of the greatest under appreciated bar names, ever.
‘89 Alum. Great memories but spending time in the basement at Casey’s was the bomb. Also working the closing shift at the Subway across from the Alibi was interesting.
Oh yeah. Great job B-ball. Basketball was very good in the Mid 80s as well.

You gotta go find a place like The Hideaway (that place is a Panera now. Good grief...) to watch the game. Someplace where a drunk professor can fall down the stairs the night before he was supposed to give an exam.

What’s next, Schuberg’s is a Chipotle?
March 22nd, 2018 at 11:29 PM ^
I hope not.
I was up there for Homecoming in 2014, sitting in what was once Casey's (upstairs), eating the saddest turkey sandwich and chicken noodle soup I've ever had, thinking "this just isn't right".

The Aftershock changed years ago. That’s the only place that was close.

I was there from 92-96. I do not recall The Aftershock.

I don’t know if Star Shooters was there when you all went there. That classy establishment is still there.
The Hideaway. Thanks for the name. Spent many Thursday / Friday afternoons / evenings shooting pool and drinking cheap beer.

If teams from Michigan won both the D1 and D2 championships, eh?

Here we go Bulldogs!
