Updated CBB Imperialism map
There is a separate one for only the tournament, but I find this one more interesting since it includes both the regular season, conference tournaments, and ncaa tournament results.

Where is Virginia?
I don’t see any green on there either.
They should have used maize for us. It doesn't stand out enough from Kentucky's blue.
Well, we're both Big Blue (along with IBM) so it works, right?

We're not Big Blue. We play in the Big House and our colors are Maize and Blue, but Big Blue isn't our thing. Unless something has changed.
He even put the /s in there. C’mon Man!
He knows... hence the /s
During the B1G tourney were calling us “Big Blue” so it must be accurate!

That'll fill in nicely after a win over UK.
My thoughts exactly. Everything from Kentucky, KSU, Nevada, Loyola, and FSU will make the map about 80% ours.
I don't see TAM anywhere on there....so if we beat them Thursday, we don't gain any territory.
Not fair. Seems like they would have picked up something from beating UNC...
UNC lost everything to UVA in their tournament, so the only thing they might have had was from beating Lipscomb. TAMU also lost everything in their tournament, so the only thing they should have right now is whatever Providence and Lipscomb had to start the tournament. UVA lost to UMBC and UMBC lost to KSU, so KSU has all of the ACC's territory from before the tournament.
Basically, the conference champions will control the entire map and it will slowly consolidate into one team controlling the country.
So that means most of what we currently have is taking all the B10 territory by winning the tournament, anything aquired from Houston and Montana is minimal.
We got whatever the Big Sky had. And Houston had, through San Diego St., all of the Mountain West's holdings. So we basically have three conferences worth of territory.
Take some profits off the table now and see where we are in April.
Help me Beilein, Villanova has taken over Muskegon County and Kentucky has Ottawa County! I need liberation.
This thing is much more interesting during the regular season since right now everything belongs to conference champions and hte people who beat them in the tournament and everyything will eventually belong to the champion..which is fitting, but dull.
When we win it all :)
