So busy writing a diary previewing A&M I missed all but the last 10 seconds of this lol. Disappointed I missed the comeback, glad the madness has continued.

that's on Cronin.  Guy oughta voluntarily resign and go back to his West-side roots and coach High School ball at La Salle.  He's not good enough to coach major college basketball.

Keeping Cumberland in after Foul number 4 --- and not playing Jenifer AT ALL in the last 5 minutes --- that's coaching malpractice.

That loss was arguably as embarrassing as Virginia's loss!

It was the largest second period comeback in tourney history, the only lead Nevada had was the last shot. Gotta love this years tourney.

is Michigan.

Anyone saying it before the season started, I would've laughed and called you crazy.  Yet here we are.

If Michigan offense can match their defense which they can do it, I don't see how Michigan can win it all. Their offense hasn't gotten on track since the B1G Championship game.

And don't forget - Michigan has played two pretty good defenses.  Montana was a top-60 defense, Houston a top-15.  Yes they've been bad shooting, but some of it is probably opponent-dependent.  It won't be easier next week against A&M's #8 unit, but A&M's offense isn't necessarily anything to write home about either.

so, the top two defenses didn't make it through the first weekend of the tournament.

defense travels...  back home.

here's hoping we find our O again in the next few days!

Again, this is, what, the 5th or 6th-craziest stat of the weekend?  This is one of the most insane first weekends of college basketball I can remember.

An SEC team just took down the defendng National Champs by 21 points...a team that we lost to...

...and that team is Michigan's next opponent.

Plus, I hate that the CBB team I hate the most...outside of Sparty and Duke...might now be a favorite to make the Final Four.

Reds blow a 2-0 NLDS lead in 2012, just needing to win one of 3 games, all at home, to advance.  San Francisco wins and wins the World Series.

The infamous Bengals @ Steelers playoff game in 2016.

Xavier as a #1 and Cincinnati as a #2 BOTH blow significant 2nd half leads and fail to advance in the tournament.
