Rob Gray (The Man Bun) responds to Michigan fans
AKA "The Man Bun" responds to Michigan fans via twitter.
You Michigan fans are real savages with the trash talk, but I can take it just as well as I dish it out! Congrats on the crazy win and good luck in the sweet 16! #Madness #LongLiveTheManBun

Man bun can be annoying but I'd give him a spot on my team.
Nothing wrong here. Thinks he feels stupid for shhh’ing the crowd after his floater. GO BLUE
he was the best player on the floor down the stretch
Gotta tip the cap to him. He played like a winner, and even in losing, he handled it like a man. Well done manbun. And hats off to Z for metaphorically shaving the manbun.
OMG!
Hands down best comment bar none
.
... PERFECT.
Cutting down the net AND the man bun at the same time.
Well done!!!
He played a major role in helping put Houston basketball back on the map. I hope Cougars fans appreciate him.
Am I the only one that wanted to punch his lil bro in the face everytime they showed him on TV??? Before the inbounds pass I told my buddy Mike "I want them to get a close up of that effing kid crying when Michigan hits the GW three"
Wanting to punch a little kid in the face because he is cheering on his big brother who is playing as a senior on the biggest stage of his life.... wow. Let's hope against hope that you are the only one who wanted to punch a little kid in the face last night.
But I'm guessing tears were shed and possibly the youngster didn't have the look on his face at the end that CBS wanted to share on national TV.
I think so. I thought he was a good player with an unfortunate hair style. I’d take him on my team.
Hitting children is wrong.
Would beg to differ with this stance.
A nun punched you in the face?
They tried, but he'd have nun of it.
Did the nun who tried have a nun bun?

I saw the nun bun on display in nashville, at the Bongo Java coffee house. I even bought the tour t-shirt. Sadly, it's been stolen. http://www.bongojava.com/bongo-java/nun-bun/
Old habits...
And continuously slam his head against a brick wall. And that was one of the "nicer" ones.
Doubt it tho
This is a horrible post. Why would you want to punch a kid for cheering with his family for his older brother? You need help.
Four people upvoted this idiocy? People really put that whole leaders and best thing to the test...
I didn't see him cry. It looked like he took it as well as his brother.
Well, if you wanted to see younger siblings crying you should have watched the Syracuse game.
this post makes me nearly wish Poole didn't hit that shot... and ive been on cloud9 with the rest of the UM fanbase all day.
Wow, I hope you never plan on having kids.
It's not my opinion, but Mark Titus went off on how much he disliked the little brother on last night's podcast: https://www.theringer.com/2018/3/18/17135384/michigans-dagger-villanova…
Start listening at the 11:10 mark.
He says America doesn't have to have the uncomfortable converstion about whether we hate Gray's little brother now that Houston lost.
He also made the point that this was really CBS's fault in showing him over and over (and over) again.
Except for the word “hate”, his commentary was basically: forced narratives/crowd shots are annoying...
A far cry from advocating punching a small child who is having a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and did not ask to be on camera.
Yeah I didn't hear him "go off" on the kid at all. But I didn't listen all the way through after they changed topics.
the Houston bench you can see the kid in the background with the stunned look on his face.
I had zero desire throttle a kid. I don't know? Maybe just how I was raised?
He's a kid.
kid was annoying. devil eyes. looks directly at camera. annoying as shit, and i said to my 9 year old to "not be an annoying little fuck like that kid". he understood!
I'm probably crazy, but I'd bet all a 9 year old understood from that was to not respect anyone who roots for another team and to be completely illogical about normal expected behavior.
You wanted to punch a little kid who was cheering for his big brother who was having another great game? You are pathetic. So I hope that you are, indeed, the only one.
I really like that kid. Plays with moxie and carried his team to the brink of the Sweet 16.
Great shooter and solid on defense. Kid will have his shot at the NBA.
Is a phenomenal talent. I’ll enjoy watching his nba career. Dilly Dilly for the little guys!
but thats ok. nothing wrong with being a great college player.
Go comfort your little brother and get a haircut.
....for the both of you.
with the bun? Those things have been around for a decade. Grow the f up, he-men. His brother was a fun little sideshow and that kid can flat out ball. Respect to him.

Mad respect for his game and moxie, not so much for the his 'do. Charles Barkley went off during one of the pre-game shows that real men do not do man-buns - so add Sir Charles to the list of haters if you like.
Ok.
Still, I wonder if he has a shot in the NBA. Better than I thought he was.
not a fan. Cry, baby, cry....I didn't get the call. Guess I'll flop around on the floor like a fish. Waaaaahhhh.
Seems like a good guy and a heck of a competitor.
When they interviewed him after the SDSU game, he seemed like a good guy.
He was appreciative of the support from the city of Houston and really cared about getting Houston their first win in the NCAAs since Phi Slamma Jamma.
He may play like a hot dog, and look like an MS-13 gang member serving lattes at Starbucks, but he was a thoughtful young man.
