That should be on One Shining Moment.
He plays up to the hate by the other teams, but you know his heart isn't in it.
Gracious in victory--love it.
The agony of defeat... damn... sports can be brutal...Mo saw that in the moment of victory...
He'll never live that down. He didn't lose the game. Far from it. Yet he'll have to carry that with him forever.
the crazy thing is that he went 9/10 before those two FTs. And he started 8/8 despite being only a 67% FT shooter. At the time I was like WTF how do they make all their FTs even though this guy isn't even very good at them.
He missed those two which is going to haunt him for a long time but he still shot 9/12 on the game which was the reason they were leading at that point. He still shot well for the game.
For some reason coaches still sometimes choose defense over the FT contest in late minutes of college games. Defense is *always* the wrong choice, IME. Especially in the tourney, end of game with pressure on the line even the best shooters miss more than they make in college.
Very cool of Mo. And I agree with the comments that this was a little surprising. Feel for Houston, I was ready to be a salty bitch if we lost that game.

Especially after Kelvin Sampson not so subtly called him out after the game.
"When you look at how those last possessions unfolded, we had every chance to put the game away," Sampson said.

Mo talks a ton during the games, and sometime I even think it's a bit much.
But this shows what he's made of. Talk during the game? Sure. But what class there. I'm not big into trash talk, but guys who can give and take it on the court and respect each other after? I respect that a great deal.
whatever works for him, I'm not going to mess with it.
Fab 5 were notoriously known for their trash talking and it worked for them.
His mom should be proud.
We need to get her to the Regional.
The Michigan Difference.
Double Post.
"Thanks for bailing us out with those missed free throws man."
I've been thinking of that poor kid from the moment Poole's shot went in. That was unbelievably classy, to stop AT THE MOMENT of celebration to offer some kind words. Wow.
Mo Wagner sealed his place as one of my favorite Michigan athletes of all time.
wonder what he said to him. Classy guy.
