Normally I agree the refs don’t determine the game, but this game was one of the worst officiating games I have seen in a while, on both sides. Wagner got elbowed in the face and Wagner got called for the foul. Neither team could really get any rhythm because of all the foul calls..

and on the flip side, that and-1 Wagner got toward the end of the game was ridiculous too. I'm not totally sure who fouled Mo but it looked like maybe someone put a finger on him?

It was just a monsoon of whistles assigning fouls randomly all game. The refs weren't sure what a foul was, but they were sure one was being committed at all times and someone had to be blamed for it.

i think once we figured out how close it was called, we went to the hoop and got fouls.  still terribly officiated, but started to even out towards end.

 

the elbow to moe's face was atrocious though. dunno how they messed that up.

Refs were shit but wouldn't have been why we lost. Offense still playing poorly. They were shit on both sides. Just a horribly called game overall, opposite of Thursday.

This only happens against us. But even though we played terribly, if there was ever a Michigan team and coach that deserved some luck, it’s these guys. MAAR didn’t deserve to have his last college memory being that layup. And Robinson also deserves another shot. Love this team.
But can’t play like that again.
