OT: Best Bond Villain
Best Bond Villain: Auric Goldfinger. Close second: Largo. Please discuss.
is the best.
I'd say the Voodoo guy from live and let die is runner up, just because that character always stuck with me.
Baron Samedi was voodoo/villain dude in Live and Let Die. He was freaky good. Think he later went on to do voice work for 7 Up.
followed by Le Cheif [sp.] Blofeld and of course, Dr. Evil [HT: A. Danger Powers]
But I'm also one of the few people who would vote Roger Moore as the best Bond of all time. I prefer my 007 flicks to be timelessly cheesy, full of tongue-in-cheek innuendo, and based on a largely ridiculous premise. Jaws fits perfectly in this genre.
I would agree that Moore was the best bond ever. Did you post on my "Best Bond" thread? I was getting a beat down on there, I could have used your help.
Xenia Onatopp.
I tell you the truth, if I could choose a way to go, I'd make sure she was responsible.
Nice avatar........NOT
PICS! PICS! PICS! PICS!
Totally ruined Famke Janssen for me. Now I look at her and can't help but think: "It's a maaan, baby!"
Nip/Tuck also gave you Kelly Carlson....
Pic? Pic!
Um, Blofeld? Duh.
You Only Live Twice- Nancy Sinatra
Paul McCartney and Wings
- Only Bond theme to have a sweet Guns 'N Roses cover
A View to a Kill. Definitely.
And I know I'm in the minority but I thought You Know My Name and the Casino Royale opening sequence was sweet as hell.
I agree that both songs were great. Didnt A View to a Kill hit humber one on some music charts back in the day?
Goldfinger
You don't like an avatar with a chick in it?
Random Task
Odd Jobs cousin. I'll take the hat over the shoe.
Who throws a shoe??? Honestly...
But Max Zorin was easily one of my favorites. And Nick-Nack of course. I'd throw Largo and Mr Big/Dr Kananga in there too.
Agreed - christopher walken was a sweet bond villain
any insidious plot that involves a personalized blimp is pure evil genius
Auric Goldfinger.
That scene with the obvious earpiece cheating at cards... Classic!
He had three nipples. Gave me nightmares for weeks.
Definitely. Had the best villian line in any Bond film...
"No, Mister Bond. I expect you to die." Classic.
Honorable mention for me would be Alec Trevelyan, 006. Not only because I loved the movie and the video game, but because I thought it was pretty cool having a rogue MI6 agent as the big bad.
...Magma.
Random Task.
My favorite villian was scaramonger. He has a really cool line where he says something like "I thought I like training animals, but then I realized I liked killing people even more." Then Bond, who was bored up til then, suddenly gives hims this double take.
My favorite song was "for your eyes only", with "a view to a kill" a close second.
WTF? Blasphemy!! Connery hands-down is the best. Moore was OK, but I'd put him behind Brosnan.
no love for George Lazenby of Her Majesty's Secret Service here.
of my favorite Bond movies. Not sure if it's because of it actually being a decent movie or because the plot involved a bunch of women who had become sex craved due to being isolated from men.
I thought that was one of the best movies, but that he was still the worst Bond. Best Villain? That's a hard question, luckily my parents exposed my brother and I to the Bond movies and we currently own all of them. I stil think Alec Trevelyan was one of the best villains even though I'm going past all of the classic movies. There were some good henchmen along with the villains, Oddjob, Jaws ect...
John Barry's "Ski Chase" from On Her Majesty's Secret Service is a pure sonic masterpiece of well-aged Bond. I had to find that song as soon as I saw the movie.
Trevellyan.
Jaws was the best villain. He could Chew through steel cable, next would be Dr. No
