Only missed 2 so far. Arizona, but only had them once (Wes Clark is a stud). Also missed Va Tech. Rooting hard for NMSU and Texas today for the sake of my bracket. Everyone have a nice and safe weekend.

Go Bucknell

i missed miami, vtech, and arizona... but have them all losing 2nd round

Thanks to a banged up ankle I get to watch at home today instead of listening at work. Since Michigan already won lets go underdogs! #choas

Would love to see a 15 seed win today!
There's especially one in particular...

when I don't do brackets (gimme chaos), I'm down for cheering for one and only one B1G team today. My old neighbor played at PU in the late 80s/90s and was the "guy you love to hate" who ended up playing in the NBA for awhile. Nicest guy in the world so Boiler Up!

Teams with long breaks have had tough games: Michigan, osu, gonzaga. let's see if Purdue and msu also struggle
March 16th, 2018 at 12:41 PM ^
Penn State and Nebraska were bad, too. That's an experiment the conference needs to never repeat.

I think Providence - Texas A&M will be a tight game, I had trouble picking. The winner of this likely plays UNC next...... who would potentially be our next opponent, obviously

With the men’s and women’s tournament, plus NCAA wrestling championships, I’m gonna be dead tired come Monday morning
March 16th, 2018 at 12:36 PM ^
With all of the green-beer-swilling-jerks out there tomorrow, I will stay at home to watch the games.
March 16th, 2018 at 12:25 PM ^
Texas Tech looks terrible so far. But Providence not capitalizing either.
March 16th, 2018 at 12:36 PM ^
Texas Tech?
March 16th, 2018 at 12:53 PM ^
all look alike...
March 16th, 2018 at 12:26 PM ^
my only good pick has been loyola over miami. thought for sure oklahoma would beat URI
March 16th, 2018 at 12:31 PM ^
I thought Young would power Oklahoma to a win as well.
March 16th, 2018 at 12:43 PM ^
Providence is running the same offense we ran in high school.
"This game is setting basketball back 40 years" isn't necessarily a bad thing.
March 16th, 2018 at 12:47 PM ^
Miami and Arizona are off my bracket.
March 16th, 2018 at 12:47 PM ^
Purdue can’t hit their open 3’s. Rust?
March 16th, 2018 at 12:48 PM ^
Could Providence beat North Carolina?
Either of these teams could
March 16th, 2018 at 12:56 PM ^
Maybe Fullerton didn't pay for the upgrade.
If you're referring to the games where Michigan kept having to do jersey swaps, those were Adidas.
Thinking about all those NBA tears at the beginning of the season.
Forgot about those. :-)
Looks like the refs are continuing with calling a foul on every drive to the hoop today.
Bracket is in the top 10% after yesterday, but the majority of my picks today are upsets....wish me luck (#needchaos):
- Providence
- Butler
- College of Charleston
- Texas
- Syracuse
- Marshall
- Kansas State
I too have College of Charleston over Auburn. The Tigers just haven't impressed lately.
I think Purdue goes out rather early. Painter has had some really good teams but never seems to get it done in March.
I think you are in for an upsetting day.
had Arizona losing in Sweet 16. Want Providence to win and then beat UNC, ha!
thanks Delaney. Purdue seems to have a better handle now, but the time off shows
Am I the only one who thinks Harrms from Purdue looks like Ivan Drago?
If Hass and Haarms had a baby it would definitely be Ivan Drago.
Is there at least one 12 beating a 5 every year?
4/13 is the new 5/12
So Marshall?
Doubtful. Buffalo already made it happen though.
Sean miller should be fired today.
Good news is that the B10 teams were high seeds and avoided a quality 11/12 team, or we might have two out already, and with Purdue in some trouble. Geez
3 Big 10 teams have struggled against double digit seeds,ACC trounced Big 10,only 4 Tourney teams, poor non conf.performance.Most are blaming "rust" but maybe, just maybe the Big 10 isn't very good this year..Stay tuned.
Umm, Purdue is looking like they will win by 20-25. OSU controlled most of their game, even though it was pretty close and very entertaining. And we controlled our game most of the time, even though it was ugly as fuck.
I’d say the conference is in fine shape.
As bad as Big 10 teams have looked so far, I predict their winning percentage will equal or exceed most major conferences this year.
It helps that all the not-so-good teams were left off the bubble. The only conference I'd expect to do as well percentage-wise is the WCC.
See - PAC12.
Purdue won by 26 and Michigan by 14. Only OSU can be said to have truly struggled, and they still won.
Purdue with 30 in the first half. Rust?
Purdue shooting 33, 27, 53. Mmmmm. I don’t feel so bad about Michigan’s performance last night.
Way too many soft bullshit calls in this tournament so far.
That doesn't bode well for Sparty, which it usually doesn't when they step out of B1G officiating.
Guarantee Sparty is allowed to bulldoze like they always are. It's bullshit the double standard where they're allowed to play their style but other teams (us) get ticky tack shit called because we are known to AVOID fouling and aren't over aggressive.
