Drevno to Vandy?

Submitted by LS And Play on

Some major smoke from Victors Board/Board #5 that TIm Drevno is leaving for Vanderbilt. Warriner would ostensibly be the OL coach in this case. Take it for what it's worth.

Webb is saying more staff change is coming so it makes sense.

Warinner being the OL coach makes next season a lot more excitable tho. I have nothing against Drev but EW is possibly the best OL coach in the country next to the Georgia guy

Osu fan here. Consensus of insiders is that Wariner is an A+ OL coach, F recruiter, and F- evaluater of talent (osu recruited several major misses that he wanted). Plus an A+ asshole. As to last point, stories include that he would be standing next to trash cans, but would throw his trash on the ground so support staff had to pick it up.

If hiring an asshole is our version of "selling our soul" the way other programs have, I'll take it. As long as he's not paying for recruits, molesting or raping anyone, covering for recruits/players who molest or rape anyone, or other similar dispicable activities. As for recruiting busts, well, that happens all the time anyway.

so what I'm hearing is he hate Ohio State with such red hot passion, that he wouldn't even converse with its trash....it's actual trash, the garbage.

I hope that last part in particular is either not true or no longer something he does, because that just seems to have no purpose other than to be a dick.

Don’t know where it started but Sam is saying more staff shuffling is coming and that 247 users will “be more festive”.

So that tells me that either Tim or Pep are bolting. And since this Vandy connection has emerged I think it’s Drevno leaving. Apparently his kid is there now.

I'm not interested in the actual football games anymore. I'm just glued to this Assistant Coaches Reality Show. Who will be Michigan's OC next week? What assistant will perform a lewd act on an animal this week? What former Harbaugh pupil turned Head Coach will harbor the next coaching castoff? Find out next, on "Desperate Coaches of Ann Arbor"
