The chrome helmet is bad because you can barely read the M, and white isn't one of their colors.

They should stick with gold pants at home and gold or maroon pants on the road. That  asphalt-gray color is fine for a business suit but looks terrible on a football uniform.

It may be annoying and stupid that it gets blasted so widely by media megaphone, but the same has been said by our rivals about the attention Harbaugh gets for his lifestyle. Being logically consistent means separating the thing itself from the attention it receives.

And, it just so happens, that Row The Boat was born of something serious and reasonable that matters: it's a metaphor built out of the spiritual aftermath of his son dying. Even as an agnostic, I find that kind of grieving mechanism equanimous/wise and I think that sharing it to help make young men become better is courageous -- not to mention that it's probably effective.

Minnesota has to do something cool and I think they did a pretty good job. I think they need to stick to their school colors though. Those grey unis just don’t do it for me.
