After reading this article (https://www.widerightnattylite.com/2018/2/16/17021660/ncaa-threatens-to…) it appears Iowa is in trouble. Almost every part of the athletic department. Big points: Coach had sex with recruits mom Money, cars, housing for nearly decades Worth a read if you have time Edit: on mobile, apologize in advance for formatting Edit 2: read my response to first comment

Since everyone else has said the same thing, I'll only respond to the first comment. I re-opened the article after I posted and first thing I saw was the thisissatire, was gonna go back and re-edit but then said "eh, let's see how long it takes others".

So besides being a tough crowd, some of the UM fan base is quite quick and smart.

But c’mon man, that’s a weak excuse. I didn’t need a header to know it was satire as I was reading it. “Other rules violations included staying out after the streetlights came on” or some such weren’t a tip? 18 years of cash and other support? Put 2 and 2 together here man...

Obviously, this is an Onion-esque piece, but I chuckled a bit at this part (overall, not terribly funny):

Various photos, receipts, pay stubs, and passive-aggressive refrigerator sticky notes also indicate that wrestling coach Terry Brands has been following the lead of McCaffery and Ferentz, providing housing, clothing, food, money, and unwanted dating advice to a prized recruit for more than a decade.

Hard-hitting journalism is the norm for WideRightNattyLight - America's trusted sports news source.  The article has bold revelations about a supposedly clean program, with the parts about the passive-aggressive sticky notes being - frankly - pretty hard to read.

We thought we knew you Hawkeyes.  We didn't at all.

I made a thread while intoxicated, many years ago, and got crushed for it.

I know how you feel, just close the app for the day and never visit this thread again. No one irl knows you by your username, and we will all forget.
