Texas leading #10 Texas Tech on the road

Submitted by Indy Pete - Go Blue on

<4 minutes to go.  Would make Texas win much more impressive.  They are already top 40 in RPI.  Bamba looking sweet in 2nd half.  Tune in if you are an obsessed UM bball fan...

UPDATE: Texas Tech won on a last second shot @ the end of OT...  Great game, disappointing outcome.

Go blue on Saturday vs. Minnesota!

but it was also a terrible call at the end against Bamba.

EDIT: Wow, dude just missed the gw FT, but Bamba and Coleman are fouled out.  Would be a miracle for Texas to win now.

I remember thinking UM didn't even play well, and won at UT. They have nobody who can score, that's a problem in basketball. They might be a worse FT shooting team than UM. Just brutal down stretch.

did when we played them.  Coleman seems to be improving, Roach is a good scorer, even if he's complimentary (not a creator), Bamba is good for some easy alley-oops every game and Osetkowski is decent.

No doubt that defense is their bread and butter and is what wins them games, particularly their shotblocking.

Texas got hit w/ some tough calls/no calls at the end.  Bamba's 5th foul at the end of regulation looked like some pretttty good defense and Evans had a nice little push off on the buzzer beater.

Tough loss.  That Evans kid from TTU can BALL, though.

Even if they aren't Villanova or ranked #1, they still aren't a dark horse championship team. They were a top 3 team in the preseason and possibly have the most talent of any team and have who many people consider the #1 prospect, Deandre Ayton. They will be a very popular pick come tourney time, especially from ESPN folk who try to think they're super smart by not picking all four 1 seeds.

at the end of regulation (to get to the line to tie it) and in OT for the game winner.

Give him credit for taking advantage of home reffing, I guess.  Very Jordanesque push off and step back jumper for the win.

I am new to the blog.  This was my first forum topic.  Sincere question for experienced posters:

Is there an automatic cost to posting new forum topics?

After posting this forum topic (my first time ever), I received 23 downvotes on my account over a 15 minute period (only 3 showed up in this forum).  No biggie, just trying to understand.  Thank you.

Total agree on the jinx theory.  Make sure the game is out of hand or over before posting this because now everyone will wake up and not be too happy.   We have also had a ton of new accounts that have been trolls recently that comment nonstop or first in every thread to gain points.
