PWO Hello: Kraig Correll - 2018 C/DT
Welcome Kraig! I can't find a ton on him other than Michigan offered him as a PWO back in October, he's teammates with DE target Jayson Oweh, and his older brother is a freshman on the Michigan wrestling team.

How’s his pass pro?

Heeeeere Maizen Maizen Maizen . . .
January 30th, 2018 at 11:42 AM ^
But seriously folks . . .
Welcome, Kraig! Bust your butt and good things will happen!

If I were a coach, I'd try to take as many OL as PWOs as I could. Seems to be the hardest position to gauge, by far, and the one where more random unranked guys make it to the NFL. Not a quick-twitch athleticism position like others.
January 30th, 2018 at 11:50 AM ^
even more true for interior guys where measurables such as height and speed matter less.
January 30th, 2018 at 12:23 PM ^
That reminds me, weren't there like 3 or 4 in the 2016 class who seemed to have a lot of potential? Could we see one of them emerge this year?
January 30th, 2018 at 12:28 PM ^
used to do back in the day.
Well, that, and a fuckton of roids.
January 30th, 2018 at 1:10 PM ^
this is what wisconsin still does to this day. they have had 3 or 4 guys drafted into the NFL who were walk on starters/contributers plus other guys who were very servicable players in the last couple years from their walk on program
January 30th, 2018 at 1:11 PM ^
I was going to say, "Remember when the Nebraska football player got stuck in the Taco Bell drive-through window when he was roid raging?", but it was a Kansas player.
January 30th, 2018 at 2:28 PM ^
No sir, it was Boyd Epley, the father of strength & conditioning! :)
January 30th, 2018 at 2:39 PM ^
with our new S&C coach, maybe we can have both.
January 30th, 2018 at 2:38 PM ^
I don't understand how we've had so many guys underperform in relation to their recruiting rankings or didn't finish their careers in AA in the past decade or so. Guys like Kalis, Dawson, Kugler, Bosch, Fox, LTT, JBB, etc. It didn't seem too long ago where UM was just pouring O-lineman into the NFL. I wonder what has changed.
January 30th, 2018 at 4:28 PM ^
to lump JBB in with your list of underperformers. While his future as a Michigan offensive lineman is presently uncertain, there's no doubting his effort and commitment to regaining his starting spot.
That was one hell of a serious injury JBB suffered. His relative lack of career on-field production has nothing to do with "underperforming".
January 30th, 2018 at 8:50 PM ^
Are you thinking of Grant Newsome? I am not aware of any major injuriy to JBB.
January 30th, 2018 at 11:56 PM ^
I don't know how I got the two of them confused. Must be my mind was still twitchin' when I posted.
:-)
January 30th, 2018 at 4:07 PM ^
...my mind be quickly twitchin'.

Insert mike hart comment and then insert comment about how every player is not mike hart.
January 30th, 2018 at 12:17 PM ^
Hey, Mike Hart turned out well and he wasn't highly ranked.
January 30th, 2018 at 12:18 PM ^
Yeah, but that was the exception no the rule. On average, stars matter.
January 30th, 2018 at 1:13 PM ^
Mike Hart was just barely shy of 4* status. Let's not pretend like he was a nobody.
January 30th, 2018 at 1:13 PM ^
source?
January 30th, 2018 at 1:49 PM ^
See Seth’s front page article from the other day. Also, it’s been awhile, but I seem to remember he sets several NY HS football records.
January 30th, 2018 at 2:41 PM ^
yeah he put up huge numbers and had great film. as I recall the questions around him were his height and level of competition.
January 30th, 2018 at 11:48 AM ^
I thought these posts were supposed to be titled "PWO Hello: *NAME*"
Are there any fucking rules around here anymore, or is it just a free-for-all? Damn hippie millennials.

January 30th, 2018 at 12:27 PM ^
And you, of all people, should be grateful he had that attitude.
January 30th, 2018 at 11:52 AM ^
Much apologies, I'm falling on my sword now.
January 30th, 2018 at 12:01 PM ^
I may be a Millennial Hippy, but atleast my generation isn’t eating Tide Pods and putting them on the internet. Small victories.
January 30th, 2018 at 12:19 PM ^
Actually, yes, it is your generation that is eating Tide Pods, unless I've been misinformed by the media and my Baby Boomer mother is doing so???
January 30th, 2018 at 12:24 PM ^
Gen Z are the ones eating Tide Pods
January 30th, 2018 at 12:26 PM ^
It's "generation Z" Current tweens and teens.
January 30th, 2018 at 1:14 PM ^
Why do they keep coming up with new generations? Why can't we stick with the ones we've got?! /s
January 30th, 2018 at 2:44 PM ^
see the broken condom comment above.
we've gone full circle.
January 30th, 2018 at 12:27 PM ^
As a Millennial myself, I can confirm that you have been misinformed. Tide pod eaters are Generation Z, which follows Millennials.
January 30th, 2018 at 12:35 PM ^
Anyone born after 1980 is all the same to me. Losers
January 30th, 2018 at 12:40 PM ^
So, born IN 1980 is A-OK, right? Right? Right!
January 30th, 2018 at 1:37 PM ^
Yikes, are you the old guy I see on the corner every morning yelling at people to slow down on the cul de sac?
/s
January 30th, 2018 at 1:47 PM ^
No, that's me. I want to make sure you stay off my lawn!
January 30th, 2018 at 12:29 PM ^
Is this where we are drawing the generational line? Cause I am good with that...
Tide-poders are ruining the housing market, rabble rabble rabble!
