#6 Michigan Wrestling knocks off #3 Iowa on the road

Submitted by MichFan1997 on

Box score to follow once I find one. Huge huge win!!! First win in Iowa City since 2005. Kevin Beazley beat the #5 ranked 197 lb'er 6-5. That was the biggest win of the dual

Great nail biter dual that came down to a great nail biter heavyweight #2 vs #3 match to decide it all. After a day of yelling, coaching my little wrestlers, this meet has exhausted me!

Down 17-7 on the road with terrible refs and still came back to win. 4 straight W's in front of a fired up full house down there. First win at Iowa since 2005, first win over Iowa since 2006.

The Beazley match was the upset we needed to pull it off. Great job by him. Logan Massa has got to get out of whatever rut he is in. His leg must be really bothering him because he is a shell of himself.
